My review pertains to the rodding out/high amp water flush out of a sewer line (due to tree roots) that was completed a month ago. First of all, Wash responded to my call and came out quickly. There is no other plumber I would call for a plumbing/sewer issue. They are truly pleasant professionals who clean up when done, and their cost is more than fair. I can't think of a bigger house headache than plumbing issues, and Walsh & Son put me at ease right away (thank you for that!). On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give them a 10! What more can I say?

Walsh and Son Sewer are the best. I received excellent service from them. I thought their price was fair and reasonable. I am renovating my basement. They installed new plumbing in my basement for a bathroom and laundry room. I also had them change my galvanized water pipes to copper. John Walsh told me it would take 7 to 10 days and they finished in
8 days.

They set up the inspection and we're present when the Chicago inspector arrived. The plumbing passed inspection the first time.

The guys working for Walsh and Son were friendly and very thorough. They did more than I anticipated. Kudos to Walsh and Son Sewer.

Four weeks after a great install of two sump pumps, I was happy to call them after finding significant water in my basement. He said he'd make it that day and call. No call. Much later, I called back and he said he'd get back to me. No call. The next day, he said he'd be there in three days. It's now three days and no call.....with water in my basement. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

They are knowledgeable and clean up after they are done. They have done a very large job and a couple small jobs for us and each time we have been completely satisfied. There was a sewer gas smell that filled the house every time water was run for any length of time. Walsh & Son responded quickly and set up a very convenient day and time to repair the cracked sewer pipe.
They arrived on time and got to work immediately. They took care of digging the hole in my basement, replacing the pipe, filling the hole, cementing the floor, and cleaning up the area within a few short hours. I LOVE not having to deal with the sewer smell anymore.
I wouldn't hesitate to call them in the future or refer them to anyone who needs sewer experts.
