Time to replace a 43 year old boiler and 12 year old hot water heater. After interviewing 4 companies decided that walsh won out. From the first call, everything went according to plan. Professional work (neat and clean) arrived on time with work completed in one day. Had an estimate in hand on 12/5 on 12/7 job was complete. All workers were courteous and finished product exemplified their skill. I know its a boiler and water heater but I'm proud to show it off as some feel American workers don't want to work. These men did and should be extremely proud.

We reached out to Walsh Brothers when we had an issue with our garbage disposal. They came out and replaced the older unit with a new one we had purchased as a stand by, plus checked out the kitchen drain to ensure no issues. Job start to finish in about an hour and the new disposal works great.
We have contacted Walsh Brothers for plumbing questions over the years and they have always been responsive. They explain what's what.

think this company might be too big for their britches. My boiler was leaking and creating a puddle in my basement. I spoke to the owner of the business and he said he would come over on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Not only did he not show up, I never even received the courtesy of a phone call. This is not the first time this company has done this. I would never recommend this company.

We LOVE WALSH BROTHERS!!! From the person who answers the phones, the guys that have been to our home to do the service, to the owner!!! They have EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Sometimes because WE ARENT THE ONLY CUSTOMER , it may take a little time. That's understandable! But we HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! They want to get to the root of the problem and their staff works together as a team to figure out the solution!!

Serviceman arrived 8:00pm on a Monday evening. I was not advised that this was to be charged as an emergency call. I was not given an estimate and charges were not detailed on bill. After researching the price of materials myself I feel the price was excessive. As a Senior Citizen I feel I was taken advantage in that I was not given the opportunity to review all charges and then make a decision as to whether or not I wanted him to complete the work. No price was quoted. Sadly he took advantage of my trusting him to be fair and ethical. This review was written by me for my friend who is unable to do it herself

I was quoted a price over the phone of $250 to replace a defective gas valve on a water heater under warranty. We were okay with that not knowing how long it would take to do the job and considering a new water heater can cost upwards of $3000. I confirmed info with the company and was told the part would be ordered and we would be notified. I never received a call when the part came in as I had to call and confirm that myself. I scheduled an appointment for 10:00 am on a Thursday. The technician called me at 7:55am trying to confirm a 8:00am appointment.I wasn't there at the time but noticed a voicemail on my phone. I contacted the tech and reminded him the appointment was at 10 not 8 and he said he was tied up with a pipe break but he would be there within the hour. The hour passes still no guy. My wife calls him and he's still tied up "" be there in an hour"" which would have been 12:30pm...He didn't show up until 1:20 pm and was done before 2:15. That's over $250 hour...yes $250 hour....Don't have your children be doctors, lawyers, etc...tell them to be plumbers.....

I have used Walsh brothers on two occasions for my plumbing needs and received fairly good service. I called them on May 23rd, with a leak behind my shower and I left a message. On May 24th someone called back and told my husband that they would call on Tuesday, after the holiday, to make an appointment with him to make the repair. No one called. When my husband called on Thursday, May 30th a rude woman answered and told my husband that someone would 'probably' come on Friday May 30th in the afternoon. Needless to say no call, no plumber. I don't call companies begging them to show up when I'm paying good money (no doubt a LOT of good money) to perform a service. I'm currently looking for another company.
One hint? Dispose of the woman who answers the phone. If making plumbing appointments bores you then you need to be in another profession.

I have used Walsh Brothers over the past 10 years for routine Heater/AC services and they've always been fair & easy to work with. Last night, when outdoor temps were 13F, my mother's furnace stopped working, and she had called her service company as well as two others who list 24-hr emergency response in their ads, and couldn't get anyone to respond. I called Walsh Brothers at 7:15pm, spoke to the answering service, and within 5 min Mr. Walsh called me back and had someone at the house 30 minutes after that. Tim was able to fix the heater blower in a matter of minutes and restore the heat. And on top of that, was a true professional. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. Thank you, Walsh Brothers!
