I used this company to snake my kitchen and bathroom drains. Amazing job unclogging them! It feels like I have brand new plumbing! The technician (and owner) also gave me great info on how I can prevent having to call him back in the future.

This company was so kind to me when I had an emergency today. While trying to fix a faucet, a weld on a copper pipe broke loose and was gushing water from my master bathroom and flooding my dining room. I rushed to shut off the water, then call Walker & Sons as soon as I could.

They didn't pick up at first, but called me back near immediately and tried to wedge me into the schedule for the evening.

Keep in mind, this is the day before Christmas Eve...about an hour later, Shawn showed up and saved the day. To make it easier for him, I cut into the wall and removed the badly welded part, and he put a cap on the pipe for me until I could figure out my next steps.

Seriously - thank you so much. I could use my water again, my house can stay warm over the next few days (uses copper lines in the walls), and my wife won't kill me.

Plus, they were so kind and didn't charge me an after hours fee. Huge help.

This company was easy to schedule with, very professional and excellent communication providing an estimate over the phone, follow up call/text to confirm the technician and notify when they were in route. Found this company through Yelp. The woman I emailed with and spoke with on the phone, LaDavia, was wonderful, and Shawn showed up within the promised window to fix a toilet that was leaking water and sewer smells into our house. They did a Saturday call at no extra charge. Shawn did clean professional work, and even put covers on his shoes. I really appreciate that when he was done he took the time to walk me through what the problem was. Would call again!

Really loved the quick, flexible, courteous staff. They provided me a quick quote upfront for a leaky toilet and the wax ring reset. Had them come also for a last minute fill valve replacement as well. Definitely would recommend them.

Good work for a good price, only reason for 4/5 stars is they were supposed to arrive between 7Am - 11AM, and they did not show up until 11:45AM.

I needed a plumber for a tenant occupied property in the Hillcrest area of SE, DC. As you yelpers in SE and southern PG know, yelp gives you tons of results in nearby VA instead of those closer to you in DC & PGC. Most of those companies (even ones in DC & PG) exclude EoR SE & southern PG from their service area just like Yelp excludes those areas from search results. Without looking at their service map, I contacted a few companies in nearby DC & PG, assuming I was definitely in their service area. Much to my surprise, they didn't service my area. Even though they some were less then 10 miles away, they didn't service my area. They serviced SW, NW, northern PG, Montgomery, Arundel and most of VA but Hillcrest was a tad too far for them.
I searched Waldorf and got results for companies much closer than my 20020 search. Walker was the first I called. I left a message and they called back a few minutes later. The next day the problem was fixed. They did a great job of communicating with me and the tenant. I'm writing this review less than 24 hours after my initial contact with them and I've already recommended them to friends.
I have a few projects planned for my home and will definitely have them do the work.
