We just moved to Georgetown a few weeks ago and our hot water heater stopped heating. Our house came with a home warranty who only gave us delays and run arounds for five days so we asked neighbors and they recommended Walker Plumbing. After calling Walker and explaining our predicament, they had Payton at our place in two hours and had our water heater up and running in ten minutes with an adjustment. VERY HONEST, CONSIDERATE AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. We will always call them in the future. Love doing business with local family owned businesses and they are great.

Unreliable!! Contacted Walker Plumbing through their on line contact form on Monday, and at the end of the week I have yet to hear from them. Must be too busy to respond. That's what happens when you try to hire someone locally.

Let me start by saying this is my first yelp review for anything, Let me also say in the past Walker Plumbing has never done me wrong. But this is highway robbery. See attached bill. This should have never taken this long. The city of Georgetown people told me this was a easy fix. Also I work really close to my house so basically I can check on them regularly without them knowing. I saw a guy without uniform standing around doing nothing, but slowing Peyton down. Could be training, but I shouldn't shoulder that responsibility. This makes me sad, because now I need to find a honest plumber. I'm going to pay your ridiculous bill, but I will never ever call on your services again.

Based on neighbors' recommendations, I called Perry Walker Plumbing for some routine work, and was more than satisfied with the results. He came when promised, and took care of the work quickly, and cleaned up before he left. He was friendly, and answered a few general questions I had. When, a few months later, an emergency popped up, they were there very quickly and again took care of me right away, at a good price. This is a local family business, and they deserve the great reputation they have in Georgetown. I won't bother calling anyone else the next time I need plumbing work.
