David Kellett here ***BUYER BEWARE*** i am an industrial maintenance engineer of 35 years. I know more than most about HVAC systems. I purchased two complete systems including duct work, $18k 3 years ago. Waldrop had best price and the install project was great, second to none. I purchased a maintenance contract which is where problems started. Waldrop must pay their technicians some form of additional incentive during the annual maintenance inspections. At every visit they tried to sell me something I did not need. Once was for an updated control board which does not even exist for my model of units. Once was for a dehumidifier. the issue was they had my fan speed turned down too low, not yielding enough air changes per hour. This is an old HVAC trick by the way. Once they claimed a fan capacitor was going out, I agreed to replace the capacitor. However, I wanted the old one to keep because it was not yet totally failed. Once I asked for the old one they all of a sudden did it for free, and did not need to charge me because in the end it was actually a warranty claim they were going to double dip the payment if I had not ask. Nothing major..... only questionable ethics. Do your homework. If a company feels the need to ask you """"how can I make you smile today"""" ask yourself is this exaggeration covering for something else. Similar to those commercials where they place their hand over their heart and say to """"experience the difference. """" Finally I learned my lessons about any """"purchased maintenance agreement"""". Realize first there is no need to have your units serviced more often than two or in some cases three years, other than monthly filter changes you can do yourself. Second you are a captured audience for the service company to 1) find minor issues to make a big issue, 2) they create issues for you to have to pay them to fix, 3) worse yet they tell you of a problem that don't exist and you pay to fix the problem that don't exist..... because you don't know any better. I'm ticked because of greed. I paid for new systems and a maintenance agreement and it was not enough for Waldrop. Buyer Beware.

Timely and professional!! There was no upselling but was truly interested in my needs. Listen to my thoughts and provided great insight on my needs

if i could leave a 0-star revew i would. i was conviced i needed a new system 1 year ago and paid about $25k. it has been serviced now 4 times and yet again today is not working. every time they come out they try to charge me even though it is under warrenty and has not made it through even 1 season without repair. they are terrible.... i want a full replacement or refud but no one will call me back ever. buyer beware. i will be filing a suite in court if this is not corrected. the part is last sercive call for o heat was just last week and he actually wrote up a work order for system enhancements $415..really buyer beware

Don't waste your time with those people, they have 0 commitment and 0 respect for your time.

After dealing with another company, who stated they fixed the issue (not once, but twice), we reached out to Waldrop Plumbing for help. Jamie came early and carefully diagnosed the problem. We are dealing with thousands in structural damage, but with care, expertise, and compassion...Jamie and the Waldrop team of professionals have us smiling once again. Thank you for making what is certainly one of the most stressful times for a homeowner a better day!!

After """"routine"""" maintenance on our service contract, a salesman came out and gave a price quotation on one of our units. Before the service call, both units were working fine. After a few hours, I noticed the temperature in the house continued to rise although both units were running. I called about this and was told a technician would be out the next day. I decided to look around for myself. I found that the power to both the units outside was disconnected. I don't know if this was negligence or a ploy to make me more eager to buy a new system. Waldrop will NOT get anymore of my business and I have requested a refund for the remainder of my service contract.

We had our HVAC system replaced and all the technicians couldn't have been more knowledgeable and accommodating. There was no standing around other than a quick lunch and morning break. They worked constantly and professionally. After the work was all done they took plenty of time to go over all the components and demonstrated how to change the filter and how to use the new thermostat.

Will never use again used for years and they were fair till last week power surge thermostat blew we tried putting 2 new ones in blew both transformers call them guy comes just wanted the system up and running writes me a book for 18k worth of new equipment .. telling me more he looks more he finds wrong .. tell him just want to start on transformers to get running he tells me if they blow I HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $700 FOR THE 2 NEW TRANSFORMERS WTF IS THAT OK I KNOW ITS A COMPANY BUT I THINK $700 FOR 2 NEW TRANSFORMERS INSTALLED IS EXCESSIVE WHEN THEY ARE $50 A PIECE . oh and no fault of them the up and downstairs thermostat originally the builder wired wrong or something is not right because the 2 new thermostats have to run off batteries because he couldn't trouble shoot the problem so now I still have a problem and put a $700 dollar band-aid on it,,,,....just mad I didn't throw him out when he tried for 18k worth of new stuff instead .. NEXT STOP BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND WHO EVER ELSE WILL LISTEN SOME BS

Got a pipe capped and a seal fixed in a toilet charged $300 and 3 weeks later the pipe busted, they over tightened it witch caused a crack and wanted $89 just to come out to look at their mistake. Call someone else this company isn't worth the hassle, time, or money.

We can't comment on their work because they didn't make it to our door. We set up an appointment to repair a water leak. Their earliest appointment was for 8 days out, so we got on the schedule. One hour before they were supposed to arrive we received a call that they were too busy and couldn't come out. We were told they MIGHT be able to """"squeeze us in"""" the following day, but there was no guarantee because they had a full schedule that day as well. They then said the next appointment would be the following week! When asked why WE were being bumped and not given any priority for the following day there was no explanation given. We decided to do business with another company, as we couldn't trust anyone who would treat customer with such total disregard.
