NEXT STOP BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND WHO EVER ELSE WILL LISTEN SOME BS

Called them to help with my Nest thermostat. Very professional and prompt.

I have used Preferring Heating & Air on numerous occasions over the years for different properties. They are prompt, professional, attentive and honest. I am confident they do good work and will talk to you about your needs.

We had problems with our gas igniter, they pressured sold use into getting a new AC unit because our other one was old, but it worked fine. The system they sold us is a piece of crap compared to what we had in our house before, the gas burner has less than half the output as our previous system and the blower is half as powerful, I'm sure will have to use window ac units to cool our house in the summer because the air flow is so low compared to what we had before.

I've heard their jingle for years, and we finally were able to put it to use. We called Waldrop to repair our extremely old trane unit, and they were out to our house within an hour and a half. Wes was extremely professional and nice (he never forgot his boot covers when coming back into the house.) They listened to us and helped us to repair our existing unit since the compressor was still fine, and weren't pushy on replacing an expensive machine. He even had (one of the two) parts we needed on his truck! The other part came in two days and they got us fixed up quick and easy. Would definitely recommend them.

Our heat went out on Christmas Day. Had our logs on when we went to sleep. Decided to turn them off because of safety issues. Called Waldrop heating and air at about 1:00am. Keep in mind we have a newborn baby. They said a 24hr technician would call us. Technician called 30 min later. The guy asked what was the problem. I said our heat went out. He then sat in silence for about 2 min waiting for me to respond. He got an attitude and said, """"Well you called us at 1:00am so what can I do for you."""" I said, """"You could help us with our heat not working."""" He then proceeded to get an attitude by expressing that it was a burden that we called him. The website said 24hr emergency service. He then said he would call back in the morning. We did not answer because the tech acted was a douche bag. So we called someone else and they were happy to help us. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND WALDROP HEATING AND AIR TO ANYONE. DO NOT CALL THEM. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. Well at least the people we talked to were. I'm sure not everyone is like that at at Waldrop.

We had a problem with our central a/c unit yesterday. I went to Waldrop's website and left an email message to have someone call. I received a call early today and gave them my information. I was told I would receive a call when a technician was available. I received two calls. The first to tell me there wan no technician immediately available and the second to tell me the technician was about 1/2 hour out. Josh R. Arrived about 10:00 am and immediately began to diagnose the problem. Thankfully it was only a bad capacitor and Josh replaced it quickly. He then spent time to completely check out the rest of the system. We discussed several options for an annual service contract and I quickly determined the one that best suited our needs. I can't speak highly enough about the staff at Waldrop, from the receptionist who initially called to Josh R. I highly recommend Waldrop, Inc.

I have signed up with this company for the Maintenance plan for two years now. Last year and this year is nearly impossible to get an appointment for the maintenance for the summer and for the winter. This year's appointment they can't even give me a time. Instead they will call me 30 minutes before they arrive. Meaning I just sit home all day and all evening until they call. This is the only day I could get an appointment without pushing the time out to December 22 which is unacceptable.Woman I spoke with was very rude. This maintenance plan is quite expensive. I will never use this company again nor will I ever refer them to anyone.

I leave this review to help others with plumbing issues. Last summer we had and issue with a hairline crack in a fitting out where the water line comes into the house. This is actually an issue our slumlord I mean landlord should be responsible for as he """"rents"""" us the land and is """"responsible"""" for all of that -- until something involving money happens. Anyway, 135 dollars just to show up and some 1000 plus to spend a couple of hours digging up the fitting out by our mailbox and replacing it. Fast forward to the past couple of months. Here in our brand new manufactured home we had a drip beneath the kitchen and bathroom sinks that seemed to come and go. It did swell the wood in the cabinet of the kitchen. Man came over, $135 just to show up, another 600 plus to walk around with booties on his feet telling us, well just about anything. Problem NOT solved we noticed. Called and: """"we'll be over on Monday to fix it and of course it's 135 just to show up."""" No. Do not come to my house ever again. Got the name of a plumber we were given months (!)j ago by a helpful neighbor, Joe of """"Plumbco"""" who came over when he could and fixed the problem, explained it to us and put in an access panel for our shower pipes in the matter of an hour or two. Bill? For all work, well under 300 bucks. Luckily, this home has a seven year warranty from the manufacturer and that warranty company has paid us back for the home issues promptly -- thanks to my noticing that statement of coverage on the information manual for this Champion Home. I will add too that one of the persons sent out tried to get me to put in a State Farm insurance claim on the kitchen sink damage as he has a friend starting a business involved with that. But this would have been a BAD idea as this was no accident but a result of cheap plumbing fixtures used in the initial home installation. I do not like the American way of plumbing and other stuff, based on volume and speed -- not saving you from spending your hard-earned money.
