Totally unprofessional. Lack luster communications. No emergency services. Sold me a unit twice the size of what I needed for my home. Ridiculously expensive!!!

Being in the construction industry and not having time to do it myself. I called and set up an appointment thinking this was going to be an easy process. I needed an outside faucet replaced and a drain line unclogged on a vanity. They charged $135 just to come out which they rescheduled. They charged over $500 to replace outside faucet to an existing line which all they had to do was unscrew the old faucet and replace new one. They charged $100 to unclog a vanity which was easy to take off P trap clean and re-install. Total bill being over $700. After speaking to customer service they said it was the national average. Maybe in Hawaii. These prices are beyond ridiculous. They did give my wife a quote which she does not know what these things cost.

I leave this review to help others with plumbing issues. Last summer we had and issue with a hairline crack in a fitting out where the water line comes into the house. This is actually an issue our slumlord I mean landlord should be responsible for as he """"rents"""" us the land and is """"responsible"""" for all of that -- until something involving money happens. Anyway, 135 dollars just to show up and some 1000 plus to spend a couple of hours digging up the fitting out by our mailbox and replacing it. Fast forward to the past couple of months. Here in our brand new manufactured home we had a drip beneath the kitchen and bathroom sinks that seemed to come and go. It did swell the wood in the cabinet of the kitchen. Man came over, $135 just to show up, another 600 plus to walk around with booties on his feet telling us, well just about anything. Problem NOT solved we noticed. Called and: """"we'll be over on Monday to fix it and of course it's 135 just to show up."""" No. Do not come to my house ever again. Got the name of a plumber we were given months (!)j ago by a helpful neighbor, Joe of """"Plumbco"""" who came over when he could and fixed the problem, explained it to us and put in an access panel for our shower pipes in the matter of an hour or two. Bill? For all work, well under 300 bucks. Luckily, this home has a seven year warranty from the manufacturer and that warranty company has paid us back for the home issues promptly -- thanks to my noticing that statement of coverage on the information manual for this Champion Home. I will add too that one of the persons sent out tried to get me to put in a State Farm insurance claim on the kitchen sink damage as he has a friend starting a business involved with that. But this would have been a BAD idea as this was no accident but a result of cheap plumbing fixtures used in the initial home installation. I do not like the American way of plumbing and other stuff, based on volume and speed -- not saving you from spending your hard-earned money.

First off, it was a regular maintenance check so there was nothing wrong with our system. Waldrop let me know via text message who the service tech would be (picture & name) so I knew who would be knocking at my door. He was very friendly and professional, asked if we were having any issues that he should know about prior to performing the maintenance check which I like. He took pictures as he went along with his system check and showed them to us as he explained what he did every step of the way. He also sent them to me so I could review them again at my leisure which is really nice. I couldn't have asked for more.

Had a toilet issue and expressed my need on YELP. Waldrop plumbing was one of the first to respond so I gave them a call back. They were very prompt and courteous with their service and had our problem fixed very swiftly. Landon was our technician and he was very personable, polite, and professional in demeanor. I would definitely recommend him (and Waldrop Plumbing, Heating, and Air) to anyone who asks.

David Kellett here ***BUYER BEWARE*** i am an industrial maintenance engineer of 35 years. I know more than most about HVAC systems. I purchased two complete systems including duct work, $18k 3 years ago. Waldrop had best price and the install project was great, second to none. I purchased a maintenance contract which is where problems started. Waldrop must pay their technicians some form of additional incentive during the annual maintenance inspections. At every visit they tried to sell me something I did not need. Once was for an updated control board which does not even exist for my model of units. Once was for a dehumidifier. the issue was they had my fan speed turned down too low, not yielding enough air changes per hour. This is an old HVAC trick by the way. Once they claimed a fan capacitor was going out, I agreed to replace the capacitor. However, I wanted the old one to keep because it was not yet totally failed. Once I asked for the old one they all of a sudden did it for free, and did not need to charge me because in the end it was actually a warranty claim they were going to double dip the payment if I had not ask. Nothing major..... only questionable ethics. Do your homework. If a company feels the need to ask you """"how can I make you smile today"""" ask yourself is this exaggeration covering for something else. Similar to those commercials where they place their hand over their heart and say to """"experience the difference. """" Finally I learned my lessons about any """"purchased maintenance agreement"""". Realize first there is no need to have your units serviced more often than two or in some cases three years, other than monthly filter changes you can do yourself. Second you are a captured audience for the service company to 1) find minor issues to make a big issue, 2) they create issues for you to have to pay them to fix, 3) worse yet they tell you of a problem that don't exist and you pay to fix the problem that don't exist..... because you don't know any better. I'm ticked because of greed. I paid for new systems and a maintenance agreement and it was not enough for Waldrop. Buyer Beware.
