Lost hot water with house full of visitors. Mike got someone out first thing Monday. They diagnosed, returned to repair and filled hole in slab in 24 hours. Didn't even have to make a claim although luck was on my side. Plumbers were polite, communicated well and cleaned up very nicely. This family-owned business has been around for years and is very reputable. Highly recommend.

We have used Waker Plumbing for years. Everything from installing a steam room, fixing the occasional toilet issues that come with teen boys and their friends. They did an amazing job when we finished our basement. We even put in a urinal (hence the teen boys). My dad and husband used them in their building business as well. Respectful team that actual cleans up after themselves which is a rarity. Would and have recommended them to anyone that has ever asked.

Rude and obnoxious plumber. Hired him to fix a water hose knob and he uses a cheap one, it breaks within two months and then charges $125 to replace it, stating that, ""it was a cheap knob"" to only replace it with the same knob, again. Also, he was instructed to call me before starts the work and he didn't, leaving a bill for something he fixed prior. This guy is a crook. Knowingly, I am deploying here soon, he choose to overcharge a military family. Unpatriotic!

I had called them & left a message with guy in office. Did NOT get a call till the following week about a leaking faucet! Plumber Mike left voice mail. I had called him back in office but was gone. they gave me Mike's cell #. Talked with him said he would be there the following morning 1st thing around 8 AM. There was no show, no call by 10:20 or so and I called shop again they said call his cell. Told them was not doing that. (I was tired of doing their admin skills). I told them just cancel the order!

AVOID THIS COMPANY? Called with emergent situation, man who answered call not receptive at all and very rude. Advised someone would call back. 48 hours later no call back, (despite us calling back). Already have our new hot water heater installed by a responsive company.

Good for you right now you can IGNORE customers... won't stay that way. If you have so much business hire staff and someone to answer your phones who isn't an ass. I will never call you again and have several other non emergent projects. STAY AWAY.

Last Thursday night after arriving home from work I noticed a strong gas smell n my closet. I called Vectren immediately and was warned to leave the house and wait outside (in my warm car) until the gas man arrived. He arrived shortly thereafter and used his meter (like a Geiger counter) to determine if there was a leak. I watched as the meter sounded like it was going to go off the charts. He advised me to leave the house with him, that there was an external leak feeding into the house. He found the approximate location of the leak and turned off the gas flow to the house. This was approximately 11 PM that night. The next morning I called Waker Plumbing, because I had seen their trucks in our neighborhood, at 7:40 A.M. They arrived by 8:30, which was amazing to me. By 10:30 they had the repair completed found another leak and repaired it too. At this time all of the repairmen left but one. He stayed until the county inspector arrived, a couple of hours later, and signed off on the repair. At that time Vectren was again called and they came out and turned on my gas. All was well.

I would especially like to acknowledge the expediency of Waker Plumbing's reply, repair and their efficiency. They were gentlemen, respected the property and cleaned up afterwards. Their professionalism was beyond anything I would have expected. Thank you Waker Plumbing!

I can say the same for Vectren's emplyees. They were professional, timely, efficient and courteous. Thank you Vectren!
