Recommended Customer Reviews
Wagner Plumbing took care of several plumbing issues, including replacing a leaky main water valve, installing a new water heater, and repairing bad/poorly designed sewer lines. They worked hard, did a good job diagnosing various issues, did the work in a timely fashion, and communicated well. Would recommend them.
Wagner plumbing were great! I am moving and wanted things to be right for the buyer, but also didn't want to spend a lot. Pat let me know all the details and then fixed my problems right away. I am super happy with the time it took, the professional demeanor of the plumbers and the cost. I will be calling Wagner for any and all my plumbing needs in the future! Thank you for taking such great care of me and my pipes!

Rita K.DO NOT UAE THIS COMPANY!!!Wagner plumming provided service for a leaky spigot and wound up replacing it. A couple of months later ice was coming from the area. Things happen. OK. But they do not return calls. Made promises they didn't keep. They will fix BUT they do not fix their mistakes!!! Beware!!!
I called this company with a problem with a sewer line. I asked that they bring a camera. When they showed up the next day they did not bring a camera. We waited around for 45 minutes for the camera only to find out it did not work. They told me based on intuition I guess that I needed to dig up the sewer line and it would only cost me $3600! I paid this guy $300 and got absolutely nothing in return. I called A &E Sewer and Plumbing and they fixed my problem for $300. I will never call Wagner Family Plumbing and Drain.
On July 7, 2014 I called several plumbing companies for an ""ESTIMATE"", as we were having problems getting the toilet bolts out, and to possibly rod out the sewer. I asked for nothing more and nothing less; as the toilet was already disassembled and we knew how to put it back in. Wagner Family Plumbing and Drain, Inc. sent 2 men named John out the following morning. Roto Rooter was coming out for an estimate as well, that afternoon. They sent 2 men out, both named John. John #1 (seemed to be in charge...while John #2 did what was told and just stood around watching). I explained to them that another company was coming out in the afternoon for an estimate, as well.
I stood there watching. When I questioned why John #1 began hammering, he said he had to dig more to find the problem was so he could give me an estimate; then he asked me to leave the room. 45 minutes later they both go to their van. John #2 comes back with a bill for $245.00. I questioned this outrageous ESTIMATE. John #2 said ""We did the work"". I again said ""This was for an estimate.""
I immediately called 708-873-8200. It went straight to a message with an emergency phone number to call. John #2 said ""I can't be here all day."" I told him to mail me the bill; by then I was able to reach Melissa (their boss). Melissa said those men have worked for her for 8 years and she would believe them over me. I told her I specifically called in for an estimate, no one authorized any work to be done. With her on the phone she asked to speak with John #1. I went to their van and handed him my phone. After him speaking to her, he hung up, yelling at me that I'm trying to scam them. I offered to give him $50.00 for his time, but he refused yelling more that I owe them $245.00. They left.
I then went to a hardware store for the wax ring to replace the new one I just bought that got misshaped trying to put the toilet in just to find there was still an overflow. When I told the hardware store man what happened, he asked who were they. when I said Wagner Family Plumbing and Drain, Inc. he immediately knew who I was talking about and told me, ""Yeah, they have been around for a long time...But they've changed their company name numerous times"". I told him, ""I can see why."" He suggested that I file a complaint with the City Inspector's Office...which I did the same day.
The following day I received a phone call from the Inspector who said Wagner Family Plumbing and Drain, Inc. is not allowed to do business in this town due to other complaints. Their will not reissue their license/permit to do work out here. The Inspector said that the bill of $245.00 is an outrageous fee just to take 2 bolts out. He also said If I have any problems with this particular company to give him a call.
no one can do work without being authorized to do so.
