I always try to give business to local companies. Based on his great Yelp reviews, I called Bud and left a message for a callback to address a semi-urgent problem: a leak in the kitchen. Bud called back about five hours later (which was fine - I understand that other jobs are going on). I thanked him for calling and as I was explaining that I called another plumber in the meantime who was able to come out right away, Bud hung up on me in mid sentence! No ""thanks for calling me first"", ""glad you got your problem resolved"" or ""give me a call next time"", he just hung up on me as soon as he heard he didn't get the job. Nice way to treat potential customers, Bud. Guess who I'm not calling if I need a plumber in the future.

Best experience I've ever had with a plumber. I had a problem with my shower valve and he figured out the likely problem on the phone. My landlord was going to install a new toilet, but Bud said that he should be able to do both in about an hour so to let him install the toilet (which my landlord already purchased). Even though he took a bit over an hour he still only charged me for one plus the cost of parts. Extremely friendly and honest; I will absolutely call him again and recommend him to neighbors.

Over the years, I've called on Bud a few times and he's always been professional & dependable. He's replaced toilets, worked on sinks and cleared drains. He's a Fallbrook local and has been in the trade for over 40 years. Prices are very fair.
