Lisa P.They were recommended by a few different friends. They arrived on time and were very efficient with the time spent on the repair. The leak was located and repaired. They did a great job explaining the problem and the process in which to fix it. Fair pricing and excellent customer service. I wish I had called them sooner!
I'm a new fan of Wacker Plumbing! The scheduling was easy and quick. The plumbing experts arrived and took care of my two issues with the kitchen sink. They explained what items would cost if they needed replacing, and were even apologetic when one replacement part was needed. I was happy to have it fixed! Costs were absolutely reasonable. They even took care of another quick adjustment elsewhere in the house. They did the work well, were always nice to work with, and cleaned up beautifully. Thanks!
Mary W.Wacker Plumbing sent their service representative Eric DeJonghe out to investigate my slow draining kitchen sink. Eric arrived on time and was able to effectively troubleshoot and resolve the problem. They were able to send Eric on very short notice, and he was able to make discuss the potential problem area and what may have caused the problem. Thanks for a job well done, and for the prompt and friendly telephone and in-home service.
Gary M.I called Wacker because they did some good work for us years ago. Brian and his son Ben came out and to replace our HW heater and sump pump. They were efficient, professional, thorough and nice guys! In the process we discovered a completely unrelated problem (90 year old house!). Their office called the next morning to set-up the next call to replace the newly found problem and they came out the following business day. Again, work was well done, thoroughly tested, neat & tidy.
I will use them the next time I need a plumber, no doubt!
After some frustration with our previous plumber, I did a bit of research before deciding to give Wacker Plumbing a try. We have now used them for a couple of projects and have been very satisfied. The technicians have been knowledgeable, the pricing has been very reasonable and the customer service has been excellent. We can also get on the schedule quickly and the technicians have shown up in the time frame expected. We have used them for: hot water heater replacement, hot water heater service, diagnosing water flow issue in a shower head, where we could not fix the problem with the usual remedies of cleaning the shower head, emptying debris from the head, etc.). Highly recommend.
Rachel W.I needed my back flow checked out because Loudoun county requires it. I gave them a call and they immediately put me in their schedule. The day of the service the technician came to my house on time, did his job efficiently, came back to my front door, allowed me to use a credit card, and it all took about 30 minutes, if that. My dogs thought the technician was great! ;-)
I'd totally use this company again.
Wacker Plumbing helped me out with an expansion tank for my hot water heater. In November, I had purchased a new HWH from Sears and had their third party install it. This was a big mistake - lesson learned. I was told I didn't need an expansion tank despite having one... and of course when I went to list my condo and sell it, a home inspector called it out. I should've kept it there and gone against the Sears installer. I re-engaged that third party and the next technician didn't know how to install an expansion tank based on my setup. That's when I knew I needed a professional that knew what they were doing.
In came Wacker plumbing, and everything's working. Yes, I had to pay the additional time and materials to Wacker since they weren't originally involved - but I'll be paying Sears a visit due to this mishap.
Going forward, I will hire Wacker Plumbing for any future hot water heater replacements - I recommend you do the same.
Susan B.this was my second time using Wacker plumbing, the first time was a kitchen faucet replacement. I called on aMonday, could have had someone later in the day but I had to head to work. Explained that my pipes were ""banging"" when flushing the toilets and especially loud when the washing machine came on. I made an appointment for the next morning for the 8-10 window. They told me over the phone it's probably the pressure release valve, cost $355. He showed up at 9, assessed the problem, yep the PRV, he replaced it all good within a 1/2 hour. I only gave them 4 stars because I looked up the price for the PRV he installed (gave me the instruction booklet) and it's about $60. I think $300 for 1/2 install is pricey, but the job is done and I couldn't do it. So, Thank you Wacker Plumbing. I would recommend them.
Gordon T.Tray and Josh just finished the repairs to my shower area after water leaked from the unit above me which resulted in ceiling and wall damage, which had to be taken out, dried, replaced and refinished over a 5 day period. Excellent work, decent and pleasant in demeanor. A professionally excellent job.
Yvonne J.Asked them to come inspect an outside faucet. They cut two separate holes in our basement - one in a wall, another in the ceiling just to find the pipe - which all needs to be repaired. Then they installed a 6"" pipe and told us they had to come back to install an 8"" version. The 2nd person came to install it, and we also asked that they fix an issue with the way our bar sink was originally installed. The 2nd person said the first person overthinks things and that we didn't need the 8"" version. Then for the bar sink, he started to cut hole in a wall to get to that pipe when all they had to do was go through the undersink cabinet (thankfully my Husband stopped them!). THEN they invoiced me for the 8"" installation and when I called she told me to ""cross of the reference to the 8"" installation"" and acted like I was supposed to realize they didn't charge me when all I was trying to do was understand the bill since it referenced a service we didn't get. DO NOT USE WACKER.
