Great experience working with Vielhauer. They replaced a toilet and a sink faucet for me. Customer service told me exactly what kind of toilet would work best. I had already purchased the new faucet. On time, good workmanship, and my updates were complete. Once again, not the cheapest option but worth it in my mind.

I've used Vielhauer for several significant plumbing issues at rentals. They have plumbers who know what they are doing and I found prices to be fair. Not cheap but they provide value in line with cost. Would recommend them for any plumbing project that requires some real skill to do.

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY, LOOK ELSEWHERE! I had a continuous leak 24/7 and I had Wally out to see where it was coming from. He assumed it was the toilet, which it wasn't. It would of been running on constantly to lose around 350 gallons a day and it wasn't. Wally replaced the guts in the toilet and it never worked correctly afterwards. I had to turn it off, when it was not in use, as it ran on and was filling up constantly. Not acceptable and poor workmanship. It never did that before. After paying around $350.00 to Wally, I have a toilet that has to be replaced! On top of that he didn't credit me any of his labor back and cares only about profit. Total rip-off and I plan to spread the word that he sucks!

Terrible company - do not use. They charge $60 for a ""trip fee"" no matter where you live, and then another $60 for being at your house anywhere between 0-30 minutes. Our bill was $120 for Wally to come inside for 5-10 minutes, run a couple faucets, and tell us we don't have a leak anymore. Absolutely ridiculous, and customer service was incredibly rude when we tried to get our bill lowered. Still made us pay full $120 even though zero work was done. And they purposely do not proactively tell new customers about their pricing - when I brought that up, they said they would if someone asked...terrible way to run a business!

I called them up to come for some Sewer Gas. They called before coming, and I asked the Plumber over the phone the pricing, because I wasn't told that before. He said Service Call is $50 min just to come over. If they had to get any tools out or do anything it is $120 min. I said go ahead and come over. We walked up stairs to laundry and downstairs to basement and explained where the smell was coming from. He pointed out to P Trap Drains that were dry and instructed me to add a quart of water. In and out in less than 10 minutes. He went to get invoice and came back and it said $120. I inquired as to why it was different than the $50 I was quoted for service call. He said. There's a trip charge and 30 minutes labor. I said I thought a service call was $50, unless you did something. He suggested that they were cheap compared to other options and there was the mileage and trip charge and half hour. I paid the $120, but will not be recommending their services.
