Matt and Anthony from McNabb were working at a neighbor's home. She had realized she didn't have a plumbing shut-off valve in the home itself and her outside valve cover was broken and the valve compartment was filled with dirt. Matt cleared the exterior valve so he could shut water off and installed her new interior valve, without an issue. I had also inspected our interior valve (a piece of junk) and after meeting them outside of neighbor's, had this team come to install a new high quality interior shut-off, in addition to repairing a leaking waste pipe from our bathroom vanity sinks and tightening our kitchen faucet under the counter. These guys are the best. Good quality work, efficient use of time. I don't know about comparing cost with other firms, but their fees were fine given the quality of service and work.
Arline D S.I love these guys! On time, respectful, efficient, tidy. Never leave a mess. Good value, quality replacement parts. Everything I require in a plumber!
Yuanyuan L.The customer service was polite and efficient. The technicians came within 1 hour of calling. They were able to diagnose the source of the leak after I described the issue (1 month ago, other company came and played around for 4 hours but could not diagnose).
The only thing is that they want to charge $400 to change a faucet. I found that a little bit much for a faucet (excuse me here because I do not know the market price for ""changing a faucet"" service).
Overall, my experience with them is positive.
We have had quite a few issues since purchasing our home two years ago and Chuck has been outstanding to work with. Recently we had a leak through our kitchen ceiling which ended up being quite the job during this pandemic. Chuck redid our piping in the exposed kitchen ceiling, master bathroom vanity and exposed pipes in the basement. We appreciated his honesty in the process and the education on our plumbing. Thank you Chuck- we appreciated all of your hard work! His apprentice came the last day with him, Morgan, and he was also very courteous. Also a thank you to Andrea their scheduler, she is such a pleasant woman to work with.
Justin C.Had a GREAT experience with Chuck. They had an immediate response, great personality, and extremely professional. I am in the contracting business for a different type of construction and it is a very rare quality to find someone that does all the above and still have very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend them. We originally called about a clogged sewer drain repair, now we will be using them for some home plumbing upgrades as well.
Update: We just had a bunch of work done and it looks great. Moved a sink and all the connections to open up a lot oslf space in the basement and improved the sewer drainage by a lot. We have phase 2 next week for a water softener, tankless water heater, and more. Couldn't be happier with Chuck.
Excellent job today by Chuck of McNabb Plumbing! Have used this company frequently over the past year or so and have never been disappointed.
Chuck was very friendly and knowledgeable and fixed our problem right away . They also arrived very quickly, came within an hour of calling them. Would recommend to others and will use in the future .
DO not use this company for gas lines if you value your family/ home!!! Mike came in and moved gas lines and DID NOT cap one of the gas lines. The gas got accidentally turned on, I got sick because the gas and could have lost my life / home. He also, didn't light the water heater. So my husband that is 71 and just had bypass Surgery had to light it, laying on th basement floor.
Mike came back to fix the problems and being in my 60 he made me feel uncomfortable/ uneasy . He blamed me for the gas leak!! He was not to blame for not capping it, because it had a flared end. After that I didn't want him in my home, so i didn't tell him of the other problems.
Melissa Mcnabb told me they don't use used parts, but a week later told my husband that they do. I paid top dollar expecting new part. Not my old parts and used parts, plus for the work to have been done correctly, and not having to fear for my life and home.
They don't stand behind there guarantee that states; That if a plumber is disrespectful in your home and you are not 100% Satisfied with their service you will not have to pay for the service. They only paid us $100 for a $627 bill. I guess that this is all they value this potential disaster at, even though it was their plumber's Incompetence that caused this. We were told because they did work that's what we got back. Mike worked a total of 2 hours 25 minutes. Material, with a 3 times mark up was about $90. Will never recommend this company
J J.They are by far the best around. I read posts about ""price"" ... a craft comes at a cost. They are within ball of the rest .... Highly recommend for any plumbing need .....
Meighan H.WJ McNabb hands down is the best plumbing company we have ever used. We live in an older craftsman home in the city and have used McNabb for simple plumbing needs and more extensive plumbing work. Their response time, attention to detail and thoroughness is unparalleled to any other plumbing company we have used (and we have used many!). The reps were extremely knowledgeable regarding some very complex plumbing issues and extremely professional and patient in explaining everything to us in detail. We are now using McNabb on our new home and couldn't be happier.
