My garbage disposal became massively clogged. Chris worked on it at length despite it being an extremely difficult job. I expect it's been among the worst he's seen. The licensed professional (""Chris"", with over 30 years of experience) arrived on time and took great care to examine all possible sources of the primary problem and even fixed a few minor issues during his visit. Our recent experience with W.A. Wagner & Sons was our introduction to the company and we were pleased to find the level of quality service, reasonable price and prompt response which has characterized its positive reviews from other customers. It's not hard to understand why the multi-generational firm, which has been in business for over 100 years, consistently earns top ratings (for price/service) from Checkbook Magazine and many other independent sites. It is without hesitation we recommend W.A. Wagner & Sons to others and happily add our own positive feedback (on both price and quality) to the already published outstanding reviews!

Finding a good plumber is often a matter of hit or miss. In this case it was definitely a hit. Our boiler had stopped working just after Christmas and as luck would have it at one the coldest times of the year. We tried calling several plumbers who indicated that they did not have the expertise to work on our boiler. Finally we had the good fortune to contact Wagner & Sons and of meeting Chris who quickly identified the problem, went out to get the necessary replacement parts to repair our boiler and within short order we had heat again. I don't often, if ever, feel compelled to write a review on yelp, but in this case it was definitely warranted.

First, they came within the exact time slot they said they would come.

Second, Chris was completely honest and said my clogged bathroom sink was a quick, easy fix. He even said he would show me how to fix similar problems on my own. He was patient and clear in his explanation. In the process, he explained how sink drainage works. Totally clear, useful and obviously caring about complete customer satisfaction.

Third, he said he would only charge for a service call.

Doesn't get much better than this.

Mr. Bill and Mr. Chris were wonderful! They were friendly, informative and knowledgeable. We had several repairs we needed. They came right out and took care of everything within a matter of hours. They would definitely be the first call I make if I need a plumber.

We have used them several times and are always more than satisfied with their service. They are responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. prices are good too. So nice to deal with a local company instead of a chain.
