The short story is that my old water heater stopped working and I needed a new one ASAP. After a a couple days of research, I decided on getting a hybrid electric water heater (to replace the old electric one), which I purchased at a local big box store. I had expected to arrange the install through the big box store, but their service company doesn't handle hybrid electric water heaters. So, I had to find someone to install it ASAP. Jim had done some plumbing for us a number of years ago, so I called him. When I mentioned the hybrid electric water heater, he knew what I was talking about. The day after I bought the new heater, Jim picked it up and installed it. I'm happy with both the water heater and Jim's installation of it; couldn't be happier.

If you read the comments by the other reviewer you can see frustration which is what happens with any contractor in America today. i have had many contractors over the course of my lifetime and for one reason or another, not return my telephone call or not follow up with me. it is very common. keep in mind that there is ALWAYS 2 sides to every story. I take the defense for this company because my interaction with them was stellar! From start to finish, flawless service. They listened to what I needed done, responded in a timely manner with the needed materials and completed the work to 101% satisfaction. If you read my other reviews you will see that in cases where I did not receive the best service i took the business to task. It is not that others are so horrible that makes Vulter so good, rather is is Vulter that makes Vulter so great.

Completely frustrated with contractors that don't return calls. Waited days to hear back from this man about two jobs. How reliable can you be when You can't even return a phone call! Infuriating! I can't recommend someone that can't be bothered to return a phone call.
