What can I say... VORTEX to the rescue!! I had a significant water stream in my garage coming out from under my washing machine. Turns out, the leak was coming from a cracked pipe inside the wall, not my machine. Vortex was contacted and they came out promptly the next day. Paul was the associate that showed up (even came early), he was super friendly and very professional. As it turned out, the cracked pipe was part of several other pipes joined together as one big unit. Just my luck, Home Depot was out of this part. So Paul improvised, purchased similar tubing/glue, came back and recreated the whole unit, piece by piece. It was amazing to watch his plumbing talents at work! It came out beautifully, Paul cleaned up the area after his work was completed and my problem was solved!! Kuddos to you Paul for doing such a great job and being so talented!! Definitely would recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional job well done! LL

This company has been INCREDIBLE!!! They are so fast to get us an appointment and their workers are so sweet and the best part is there's NO BS!! They have come through for us so many times from toilet back ups , a big project in our garage. They are honest and work quick and efficiently! We love Paul and mike!

BEWARE of Vortex hourly charge as they will slow down their work to charge you more!!! Super slow Mike and his helper (trainee) charged me for 2 hrs of job to replace a shower handle cartridge - (2 workers 2 hours $214 labor only). That includes 40 min trip to Home Depot which is across the street from my home on Euclid/Riverside, 30 min to check any more leak after job completion and writing the invoice - that's more than an hour! I thought having 2 workers would speed up the job - but no- it seems Mike is training the other worker. I complained unsuccessfully. DO NOT USE VORTEX!!!

I've used Vortex several times to repair leaks and reroute piping. They've always been very responsive, have done great work, and are reasonably priced. I have recommended them to several friends and neighbors.

I had a few experiences Vortex and thought Russell was a good knowledgeable plumber, but the last experience with another Vortex plumber was terrible, and they don't care about their customers.

Plumber came to check a soft spot on the ceiling and within less than 15 minutes determined it to be caulking rather than a leak, so no work was done. I asked for a bill and he didn't give me one saying that the office would bill me later but it would probably be nothing because they had another job in the area. I am not used to plumbers giving freebies, do I emailed Debra at Vortex to note what the plumber did and that I was expecting a bill from them. Never heard back from anyone, nor received a bill in the mail. Apparently they billed my HOA $285 for TWO HOURS of work for TWO PLUMBERS. I called and emailed Vortex several times and was promised a response on one Friday and then on the next Friday - basically they think that billing inquiries should take weeks to address. No sense of reasonable timeframes. Three weeks later no one called me.

One of the times I called I actually got Debra on the phone and she said that she was aware of my concern but she was training someone and didn't have time to deal with me. How's that for customer service? No time to deal with a customer that she billed incorrectly. She never called back by the end of the week when she promised to, so in 5 days she couldn't find any time to deal with a wrong bill issue. I tried to get in touch with the owner via LinkedIn but was also ignored.

There are plenty plumber around, so they don't have my business anymore, you can give them your business, but if anything goes wrong, they may not have time to deal with you. After all they have more important office stuff to deal with than to work with a wronged customer.

Our plumber, Eric, showed up with mask on and went right to work. He replaced our bathroom sink and had no problems. This company has great prices. Cost was about 1/4 of another plumbing company that quoted us. We have used this company for other needs and always have been very satisfied. Definitely recommend using this company.

We had an emergency toilet back up situation on a Saturday night, it was a disaster and already had a plumber come out and say they weren't able to fix the problem and that we'd have to find somewhere else to stay. Luckily, Vortex Plumbing was able to send someone out, on a Saturday night, thank goodness!

Their plumber, Eric, showed up and couldn't have been nicer and more helpful! He wore a mask the whole time, he was super knowledgeable, and very friendly.

He took a look around the property and got right to work on the pesky toilet. Within 30 seconds he was able to identify and solve the issue.

We are so thankful for the awesome service we received, we can't thank you enough for fixing this emergency on such short notice! I would highly recommend this plumbing service to anyone.

My grandmas water started backing up in her kitchen sink on Christmas Day. We called vortex and they had someone out there within a couple hours to fix the problem. Was very impressed with their quick response and ability to fix it so fast!
