These are the best plumbers in SoCal....and trust me over the years of owning many properties and as an interior designer working with tons of subcontractors...I have used many. They are super fair in pricing, get the job done properly & efficiently and omg sooooo clean (I am beyond OCD...so that alone says a lot). They also are truly the most honest plumbers and have saved me a lot of money. I have used them for about 5 years now and will never use anyone else. Nicest people on the planet too.

So here is the problem. I have used this plumber for about 20 years. Mostly for small items but occasionally for major problems. I have never not paid a bill and have never questioned their invoices. The only complaint I had in the past was that they leave the area in a mess.

On Friday December 15th we had a major pipe break under the floors. I immediately called him and he came out and shut off the hot water and was to return on Monday. We discuss insurance coverage and he felt it would be covered.

On Monday he tells me we have to pay everything in advance because it is company policy not to deal with insurance. This is the first problem. He is the company. Don't hide behind ""the company"" when it is you. As a result he will not defer payment until State Farm pays. (P.S. I have had them and our family has had State Farm for over 80 years. They always pay.)

Next I ask we we can defer payment for a week and half. Its an unexpected expense and I just need that time to get the money together. The cost will be a minimum of $1800.00 and involves tearing up the floor. He does not respond. So now we are without water for 3 days so far.

If you want to keep long term customers, maybe you should alter the ""company"" policy when asked once in over 20 years. Whats the point of building up a long term relationship with smaller jobs when you cannot respond to a true emergency in an unbending manner.

FINALLY a plumbing company I know I can count on! After using a few others for some minor plumbing problems, I looked again on Yelp to get a third opinion on a continuing issue. V.J.s looked promising, reading the reviews. I appreciate a family run company as I feel they are more dependable and a contractor you can rely on for years to come.
I was not disappointed and very appreciative for the quick response I received. Kesh was just here and all said and done, no major problem, he did the ugly work and gave me a few tips. Again, a family run company gets bonus points from me. I now have a plumber in place I know I will be able to depend on!!! I will be passing their name on to the others in my complex!

These gentleman came out this morning to fix a leaking spigot and hose bib at my home. They were on time and had the job completed in about 15 minutes. They are very friendly and professional.

VJ's is great. VJ and Kesh and their employees are wonderful. Pleasant, respectful. I had a water heater that was leaking and they came out the same day to look at it and then came the next day to fix it/install a new one. I totally trust them and will call them again.

V.J.'s Plumbing Inc. is fabulous. I'm staying at a friend's house in Santa Monica for five days. I closed the drain to wash a swimsuit and couldn't get it open again. The lever didn't work, a butter knife didn't work. I was at wit's end. I was lucky to call V.J.'s. Kesh, the owner's son, answered the phone at 8:10 a.m. on the first ring and called me back when reception was rough. He got here before 9 a.m. from another job and fixed the problem in a matter of literally seconds. Then, he refused to charge me. The service call was free. He cleaned the plug of scum and hair, replaced it, and left with a cheery goodbye. His dad waved from the car. I am very touched by this incredible display of good will. Please pay it forward. These guys stand out from everyone i've ever worked with in plumbing. They have helped me on lots and lots of repairs now and always fix the problem the right way the first time. I've never had to call them back about fixing something we've already fixed. It means so much to have literally complete confidence in the people you choose to work with. Can't find that these days. i'm an advocate of this team bc for years they have helped me and since day 1 they have been consistent, responsible and done top notch work.

Been using VJ for years - they can do big jobs (condo complexes) or small ones. They installed a steam shower for us, which was complicated and do fantastic basic plumbing work. Honest and reasonable prices as well. Kesh and VJ are the best - highly recommend!

I was initially referred to V.J.'s Plumbing by my next door neighbor, who was very pleased with their service. We first used them a few months ago when we had a major gas leak from our pipeline. They did a terrific job not only replacing our pipeline, but causing as little damage and disruption as possible to our lawn and hardscape. The workers were professional, courteous, and it was a very fair price. Today, we had a burst pipe under our home caused by our hot water heater, leaving 6"" of standing water under the house. Kesh (VJ's son) came right out and repaired it within the hour. It was an awful job, and Kesh handled it with the same professionalism, good nature, and fair pricing that we had experienced before. I'm happy to have finally found a great plumber we can consistently rely upon! Thank you to VJ and Kesh!
