On Wednesday I contacted Vito's to let them know about some work that needed to be done. Over the phone they told me that they would need to send someone out the following Monday to provide us with an estimate after I explained what we needed done. On the Monday of the inspection meeting for the estimate, a field employee called me to let me know that he was on the way and asked what we needed done. When I explained the work to him, he informed me that Vito's could not perform the work as described and he would not be coming that day for the estimate.

While I appreciate how upfront he was about not being able to perform the work, I had taken off work that afternoon for the estimate. As such, I would have appreciated finding out sooner than during the 12pm - 2pm window that he would not be coming to provide the estimate. He ultimately told me another plumber to use who was unable to come until Tuesday, causing me to take another half day off of work.

Home town service and professionalism was my experience with Vito's Plumbing. We had the dreaded water line break outside our foundation. Vito responded within hours and got us stabilized. They did everything they could to save my landscaping and restore the grading. Crew was professional, informative, and courteous. Material and sealing procedures were the best. Came in at quoted rate. Never a fun experience, but these guys were a definite good choice.

DO NOT USE THEM. They didn't show up for the appointment time and when they did they spent 3 hours rebuilding a toilet, which still didn't fix it, and then tried to charge $300. For a toilet they didn't fix. Add to that active cursing in front of the tenants = poor service & lack of basic professional conduct.

UPDATE: 10-6 - Mike the owner just called me and threatened me with a lawyer for writing this review. He is not denying what happened happened, he is just wanting me to pull this review.

Vito's is the best! We live in an old neighborhood and had our sewer line replaced by a different company. They left our yard a complete mess (old sewer pipe sticking out of the ground, huge holes in the ground and rutts in our front yard.) The other company was unresponsive and not kind when we asked them to come clean up the mess. I called Vito's as a last ditch effort to get a recommendation for a company to help us clean up the mess. He came over that day to look at our yard...for free! He gave me his recommendation and was extremely helpful in finding other options for us. His customer service is wonderful! His consideration was refreshing...especially after a VERY frustrating week.

We did what we could to fix the mysterious leaks from our main shut off valve into the front wall of our new house. Called Vito's the next morning and Mike was here within minutes and fixed the problem in short order. Friendly, professional and know what they are doing. HIghly recommended.
