Contacted this company based on review and confirmed that all the praises in other reviews were true. I had a tricky situation where pipe was leaking under the ground. It was very hard to detect but Vladimir restlessly dug the ground to find the broken pipe located 5' under and fixed it on the same day. Thanks Vladimir.

We had a terrible noise inside our house. It sounded like water running. I called Vladimir and he came out the next day. He told me over the phone it would be around 300 hundred to find were it was leaking. He showed up on time and pinpointed the leak to a pipe under our court. I was relieved it wasn't in our house and he only charged me 100 . Very honest man we will use him again.

I was happy to hear that Vladimir was available to come out the next day to detect a leak as two other companies had told me they were scheduling 6-8 weeks out. He located the leak quickly and gave me a reasonable price to do the repair right then. He doesn't accept credit card payment, but we were about to sort out an electronic payment easily enough. I'd be happy to contact him again, if the need arises.

Vlad did an amazing job repairing a large leak in an incredibly difficult and barely accessible location with minimal disruption to my pavers and stonework planter wall. He worked tirelessly for hours in 40-degree weather and got the job done! In my opinion, his rates are very reasonable, given the challenges of this job. Highly recommend!

I almost never ever post any reviews but after the INCREDIBLE service we received from Valdimir, I knew I had to write something. After being notified by our City Water Dept that we had a constant leak for quite some time (not readily evident in our monthly bill) and then determining it was in our main waterline (between the City's Water Meter and our home), I turned to Vit Leak Detection (after another leak detection service said they wouldn't be able to come out until 3 weeks later). Not only did Valdimir answer immediately when I called that Friday afternoon but said he could come out first thing that coming Monday morning! He told me upfront how much to expect for locating the leak and a ballpark range to fix the leak. He kept me informed that he was running late that morning and when he got here, it was evident that we were his ONLY priority while he was here. The guy's an incredible workhorse! No breaks, just constantly diagnosing and then fixing our leak. He was here for close to 5 hours digging and almost crawling under our concrete to fix the leak he had located. Even after having determined that his repair eliminated the leak, he still went around the rest of our property to ensure there was no other areas of concern. He was straight forward, a kind of ""resonance man"" who doesn't talk much but is only focused on getting the job done. You don't come across that old time work ethic much anymore it seems. Can't say enough about how thorough and dedicated he was and honest as I mistakenly asked him at the end if I owed him the top end of his quoted range (given he'd been here for so many hours) and instead of saying sure and taking advantage of my ignorance, he immediately corrected me and told me the price was $300 less than I had thought. Highly, highly recommend Vit Leak Detection!

I am happy to report that the ratings given by other reviewers are not exaggerated! I was a bit skeptical but more hopeful and I am glad I called Vald to check out my water leak issue.
This was a major leak situation in my irrigation main line branching off from the water main and most of the pipe is buried under concrete pavings. Vlad came and immediately started investigating with his instrument. He found the leak in less than 10min and fortunately it was partly out in the muddy area near the irrigation station valves but was still pretty tight for accessibility as part of the pipe was under the concrete. Vlad even suggested to get it done by landscaper guys as they might be cheaper than regular plumber but seeing how knowledgeable Vlad was in his understanding on how the PVC pipe connections needed to be mended to fix the leak properly, I decided to hire him to do the fix as well and I am so glad for that decision.
You can see him working in the tight space of the enclosure which also had the pool filter and pump installed. He did an excellent job - took him a good 3+ hours to fix it but he worked patiently and diligently and even waited an hour for the pipe joint compound to dry out before testing the fix.
Vlad was also very reasonable in his pricing - he did not bump up his pricing to take advantage of the situation, he didn't charge me extra because of my location or the size of my house - he was sincere and professional - a quality that's hard to find these days. I am glad I found such a thorough & professional crafts person. He will be the first one I will be calling for my future needs.

I purchased a Flume water meter when CCWD sent out an offer for a rebate to purchase it. In the first ~year, it had been useful in helping understand how much water my different drip timers were using, but I otherwise hadn't thought about it much. A few weeks ago, however, it alerted me to a slow leak (~1-2 gallons/hour). I spent a little time checking fixtures in my house without finding anything, and then called Vit. He came out a few hours later, and confirmed that it wasn't in my house. I'm in an unusual situation where my house service line is ~300 feet from the water main, with a creek between my house and the main. He spent ~20 minutes using his equipment to try to track the service line and see if he could identify the leak, but finally explained that the leak wasn't yet severe enough (and my extremely thick clay soil hindered sensitivity of his equipment) for it to register for him. He made a few recommendations on what to do next, and started to get in his truck to leave. When I asked about payment, he said he didn't find anything so I didn't owe anything, and only when I insisted on paying something, he took some money for gas. I wish he'd been able to find the leak, but I totally understand how my circumstances would challenge his detection equipment, was thankful to him for eliminating the possibility of a leak downstream from where the service line connects to my house, and truly appreciate his integrity in not charging any service fee when he was not able to identify a leak.

If you are looking for an honest and no BS person who knows his stuff, look no further. I needed to check my outdoor irrigation system for leaks as some water was constantly flowing. My concern was underground leak. In approximately 20 mins from the time Vlad arrived, he was able to get down to the root cause. Thankfully he was able to help identify the problem not being a leak but a bad irrigation valve. Others before him tried to charge me service fees just to drive out, or BS inflated leak detection costs that didnt make sense. Vlad gave a fair price, was very quick in coming out and helped identify the problem fast. He also gave great recommendations on solving the problem.

I would give VIT Plumbing a 10 stars if I could. We did not know we had a leak in our water main line in front of the house for a week. We thought the sprinkler had was broken (and it was) and fixed it ourselves. But a puddle of water got bigger every single day and we could not tell what the cause was. Our water meter was completely submerged under the water.
That is when we started calling around for quotes and earliest appointment. The best we could get was an appointment 2 weeks out (yikes!!! who could wait water leaking badly for 2 weeks+?) and pricey quote for just a leak detection. Luckily we also found VIT Plumbing on Yelp, and gave a last ditch effort to get an early appointment. It was a charm. Vladimir, owner of VIT, gave me an appointment 2 days out with much better quote. Needless to say, we took it. We were so relieved.
But Vlad came out 1 day earlier on the next day instead. He detected where the leak is right away and he said we are very lucky it is right next to the concrete sidewalk and not underneath. It turns out he is also a plumber (duh! on us) and could do the fix and gave us a very fair quote. We gave him a nod. Vladimir spent tirelessly the next 3-4 hours digging and doing his magic fixing it. See the photo. Needless to say he stopped the leak and everything was good as new. Vladimir is very friendly, respectful, very informative of what could've happened and did a great job efficiently. Vladimir left that day and left us his tool to shut off the mainline in case the glue did not dry well. He said he would come back in 2-3 days to pick it up.
Didn't I say he is a magician? 2 days after he fixed our house, our new neighbor next door who just moved in a couple days ago told us they have water leaking from their backyard flowing out onto the street. Without any hesitation we referred Vlad to them. I saw Vald the next day working on the next door house. An underground pipe in our irrigation system in our backyard was broken coincidentally the day after Vlad left fixing our house and gushing out water when that zone is turned on. We didn't make much of it as we have to go on a travel and planning to deal with it when we come back. But I told Vlad about it and he said he would help take a look (without us having any appointment with him). He not only took a look, he found the cause of the gushing and dug the dirt and fixed the broken pipe for us - FOR FREE. When I insist to pay, he told me ""Do not worry. You are my friend."" I was speechless and very grateful of his kindness. THANK YOU SO MUCH VLAD!!!
Vlad is a rare gem. Do not call around. Just call VIT Plumbing for any water leak or plumbing issue. Vlad provides 10-star service.

After 2 days with no water due to a leak. Called out 2 other plumbers one plumber was the one I called from Yelp and the other was from Home Warranty. No success with both of them. Stressed out trying to find a plumber ASAP. Day 3 with no water decided to call another plumbing service, called Vit Leak Detection. THEY WERE SO RUDE. He was uninterested in all my questions and said we probably don't have a leak and he had to go and hangs up the phone. I guess this place does NOT need any business and for that I do not recommend this place because they will probably would do a lousy job and not care and blame it on you.
