Professionally able to set up appointment times, but unprofessionally did not show up to the first appointment or the rescheduled appointment with no correspondence.

First appointment was scheduled by Virgil's Plumbing Company based on availability with a week wait. When the day arrived, no one showed up and there was no phone call. As the customer, I reached out and was told they're busy with another job and would not be able to make it that day. Contact was initiated by the customer, not the business. Virgil rescheduled for 2 days later and unfortunately, the same situation occurred, again with communication initiated by the customer. When asked if the company was planning on reaching out, Virgil's Plumbing Company said they've been very busy with a job. They did no offer to reschedule.

It is unacceptable for customers to take multiple days off of work in the same week, change scheduled plans, and sit and wait at home for a scheduled appointment by a company to no show without contact.

Virgil has been doing our plumbing for a few years now. Virgil did all of the plumbing work for a complete tear out and remodel of a bathroom back in 2016. The work was done to our complete satisfaction. He has been out to the house on smaller issues since then but always makes the repairs quickly and to our satisfaction. Summing it up in a couple of words...reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable and skilled.

Virgil's Plumbing has been handling our plumbing for years. From freeing up drains to designing a bath layout to reconfiguring our mechanicals to allow for best use of space they've handled many jobs for us.

We originally contacted Virgil's Plumbing when we had a stoppage in the mainline for our home. Obviously this is a major issue, as it basically locked up the plumbing for our home. This happened late one evening after hours. We were able to get another company to come out on an emergency basis. That rep of Precision Plumbing proceeded to tell us the drain could not be cleared and we'd have to tear out and replace the line, which would have included tearing up the floor of the home, the patio the line ran under to the septic, etc. He would not even attempt to rod the main, leaving us with no plumbing and handed us a quote for several thousand dollars for this job.

Next day I decided to get other opinions and called Virgil's. They came out, rodded the drain, and got us up back up and running. While they could well have corroborated that quote and attempted to get the more costly job for their own company, they did the honest thing and got us back up and running instead of holding us over a barrel for profit, as I felt the other company was attempting to do.

Everything has always been done well and at a reasonable price. Virgil's is our go to for these issues, no question, no doubt. They've proven they're honest, they've proven they know what they're doing and they've proven that if you have a serious issue they understand the urgency of some situations, and will jump on it to get you back up and going. That has carried forward for years at this point.

There are plenty of companies in this and other fields that, in my opinion, will make every attempt to take advantage of a bad situation for you to turn it into a highly profitable one for them. These guys are not those people.

Thinking about it now, the first time they came out they didn't know me from Adam. I wasn't sent to them on recommendation by a friend, a colleague or whatever, but blindly pulled them off of Google looking for a second opinion on something that didn't seem right to me, and it turns out it wasn't. I have no reason to think they don't treat everyone this way in giving an honest assessment of what you actually need and going about getting it done at a fair price.

Have a problem, or need some sort of other work done, pick up the phone, you've found your guy.....

I use Virgil for all my plumbing needs at my home. I am not sure the other reviewers experience but mine could not be more opposite. He provides an estimate (we are on a budget and he is mindful of that), does exactly the work that was quoted, works around our crazy schedules, and everything works perfectly. We refer him to all our friends. He is really straight forward, which I appreciate as I don't need a bunch of fancy words that I don't understand.

Having been a Realtor for 22 years I know quality workmanship and Virgil is the definition of quality - and at affordable prices. He just did an amazing job of correcting an extensive plumping issue in a crawl space area at a listing of mine. He did an great job, stayed exactly at his quoted price and reviewed his work with me before he left. He seems very honest & trustworthy. Top notch!! 2 thumbs up!

Virgil's Plumbing provides fantastic service. I called with issues for my sump pump, he came out promptly, provided me a very fair estimate. He was clear in regards to what needed to be done and why. I felt that I could trust what he said and I will use him again and refer him to others who need a plumber in the area.

Great dependable service. Top quality parts used. They've been over to my home for three projects so far and all the jobs have been completed top notch. They took on one complicated job where another plumber gave up after seeing and they completed it quickly and professionally. Very pleased with the guys and their work. I will use them whenever I need a skilled plumber.

If there was a category to give negative stars, that's where I would start. $1300 to fix a bathtub leak and yet the problem wasn't resolved. Leaking occurred soon after the repairs. Here are my issues:

1. No estimate was provided (written or verbal).

2. The plumber complained when I asked him to provide a silver shower head plate when all of the bath fixtures had been changed to silver.

3. I had another plumber come to fix the leak and it turns out the plumber installed a cracked balancer in the shower controls.

Stay away. A fraud at its finest.
