BEWARE!! Stole deposit, did not do job, did not pay crew!!!!
I worked out a deal for Jon to re-plumb my house in Plano after foundation repairs indicated that the cast iron lines under the house were in too bad of shape to repair. We agreed on a price and I sent Jon a deposit of $2,000 dollars to get started on the job. There was a schedule to hold to as I had a contractor starting on the interior and Jon need to have some inside work done before that contractor could finish. Once Jon cashed my deposit check he sent his crew out to start the dirt work. They did some excavation with a backhoe and during that work they destroyed the sprinkler system and ripped out the gas line from the city. After that, Jon went radio silent and would not respond to calls or texts. As a matter of fact, he never returned to the site to continue the work. After 2 weeks, I was forced to hire a new crew to come in and complete the work. At this point, I found out that Jon had never even pulled a permit to start the job! I tried to reach Jon for a refund but his voice mail was full and he would not respond to any requests for a refund. I was also informed that the original dirt crew was asking if I knew where Jon was because he never did pay them for their work and he will not respond to them either.
I highly recommend you find another plumber if you are considering a large job. If you are doing something small, I would highly advise that you verify that he has pulled a permit and I would NOT give him any cash until the work is completely done!
