Konrad was great!! Showed up on time and fixed everything for us. The work ended up being more than what he estimated but still,honored his quote. He was very professional and explained everything to us. I would highly recommend this company, will call again for all plumbing needs.

KONRAD IS AWESOME! He showed up on time.... on a Sunday wearing all the protective gear. He charged a lot less than the other quotes I got and wrote a letter / invoice to our HHA to reimburse us. My sink backed up at 9pm on a Friday, and in order to not upset my wife, I jumped on Yelp immediately to hire a plumber. VIP Plumbing was among the first businesses to respond to my ""Request a Quote""; they offered the best price and soonest appointment slot. Konrad came out the next day at 9am and promptly diagnosed the issue. He snaked our pipes, and to ensure a peace of mind, he repeatedly tested our sink to ensure that the issue was resolved. I highly recommend working with Konrad and VIP Plumbing!

So I am not sure what the deal up with the 1 star and yes reading those did make me a bit apprehensive, but I am glad we made an appt with him. My experience was vastly different than those 1 star reviews. I am glad I didn't take into account those bad reviews bc honestly no one is perfect, anyone can have a bad day or tried to do too much. In the end people are trying to provide for themselves and/or their families. With that said I found Konrad to be very helpful. There was a slight miscommunication on the scheduling through Yelp which honestly didn't bother me. He was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and flexible. We decided at the last minute to replace our toilet vs. fixing it and he even met me at Home Depot to bring back the toilets to install. He talked us through every step of the way. I appreciated his honesty and flexibility. I would call him again in a heartbeat. Not all bad reviews should reflect a business. #justsayin

In short, you will do yourself a great favor by not hiring Konrad, ever. I was struck by how similar my experience was to what some other negative review has mentioned. Konrad responded quickly to my request and provided a very reasonable quote to fix the air gap back flow from my dishwasher as well as a leaky kitchen faucet. When he came, he declogged the air gap line and told me to order a new kitchen faucet which he will help me to install once it comes. He charged me for the price of the two jobs combined and assured me he will come back for a small additional fee to help install the new faucet. From then on, I contacted him when my new faucet arrived, he responded by text and confirmed that he will come for the installation. However, he did not show up on the day of the job, no returning of any further texts or phone calls. Like others mentioned, I was ghosted. It seems that Konrad's strategy is to lock you in with a fair quote, show up on the first visit, do enough to get the majority of your payment, promise to come back and finish the rest which he never will.

My experience with finding professional services on Yelp has always been uneventful, with even a few very positive experiences. But this one really left a nasty taste in my mouth. Lessons learned on my part, and people should be warned and keep clear of such bad businesses.

I had Konrad replace my water heater in Pleasanton my new unit looks and works great, all work was done according to California code and very competitive price. I am very happy with this company and will recommend them in the future

When Konrad initially showed up to install my water heater, he gave me a reasonable estimate and offered to start the work soon. Initially, the work progressed as I expected, and (thank God) he got far enough to install the heater so I have hot water. But that's when things started to go down hill.

Part of the water heater install involved replacing a hard line and condensate line. On the last day Konrad showed up, he demanded his money and left, promising to come back tomorrow. Every day after, for a week, I would text him and ask him when he was coming back, and he'd always say ""tomorrow"" and then no-show.

I was eventually ghosted over text message, and he won't respond to texts or calls any more. To rub salt in the wound, he cashed my check the same day he stopped responding. That's the level of respect you should expect to receive from this plumber.

He has left some tools and supplies under my house, and the pipe is dripping water over my foundation. It's a terrible situation. Now, I'll have to hire another plumber to finish the job.

I used Konrad to support repairing a new water heater at my mom's house. Be patient with scheduling, he's a one man show, who really knows his stuff. He was able to fix the tankless water heater, giving my mom hot water! He was thorough and was able to even show us things that the general contractor had totally screwed up!!! THANK YOU KONRAD. We are going to use him to do some other repair work!
