Well you would think that First American would see how bad this company is. But I think that they use them to deny claims anyway so I cancelled First American and I am now stating How bad these guys are! Did not even try to diagnose the problem with Water heater. Just took pictures to prove why the home warranty company would not cover anything. I called out ABACUS PLUMBING which lit the heater right away and gave the diagnosis of suffocation due to heat and debris.
With all the bad reviews I think I dodged a bullet. Don't use this Company and Don't use First American Home Warranty Either!

Horrible plumbing company. Came out to find a leak in my drain pipe and said that the crack in the cast iron was from lighting or freezing. The pipe is inside my house! Needless to say these people are unprofessional and do not provide quality service you can trust. Too many plumbers to choose the people. Go with another company that will test you right. If Kenneth or Larry comes to your home. Ask for another tech. They are the worst.

I never leave reviews but have to on this company.
I have a Home Warranty contract and when our toilet, shower and tub overflowed in our bathroom we were set up with Vintage. They responded very quickly and set up a time for service but after that we did not hear from them. No answer at the main number and left 2 messages. 5 hours later they responded . We cancelled and had another company come out. This was considered an emergency. We were told we would be a priority early in the morning. Obviously we were not. Believe the other bad reviews. I should have.

Our One Guard Home warranty company sent this company out to unclog the kitchen sink. When the gentleman arrived my tenant removed all the items under the sink. My tenant called me up because the gentleman wanted $625.00 to cut off a pipe, snake it and a rebuild of pipes due to the removal, and asked where the clean-out was. Well my tenant was not aware, and the gentleman did not even bother to look closer under the sink. This employee was there for a total of five minutes, when I asked him did he call the Home Warranty company, he answered no. After I denied him the $625.00 he immediately left. I arrived shortly to the property, and lifted up a small amount of cabinet cover protector and found the clean-pipe myself. So again what was the $625.00 for? I find this gentleman is lazy and just didn't want to complete the work or tried to take advantage of the situation. I am not a plumber but I was able to locate the clean out pipe myself which should be an embarrassment. I sent the gentleman a picture showing the clean out pipe located inside the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink area, he should have turned around and came back out to the property to fix the concern, but no went on to the next because he made no money, then tried to come out two days later. I called another plumbing company that came out next day and handle the clog no problem. I do not wish to work with companies that do not care about customer service. I did not want this company coming back due to the dislike/distrust they provided. Vintage Plumbing needs to refund the $69.00 charge due to the poor quality service they provided.

Still terrible company. FIrst american sent them out again, even though I said don't use them. And then he told us you need a new water heater but lied on the report saying that water was shut off and caused it. so the claim was denied. I understand why the person came and went so fast, they saw construction company working next door and assumed it was the cause and denied it and got my $85 call fee. this place is ridiculous and liars. I asked FAHW to tell me what proof they have that my water was cut off? bc it wasn't, unfortunately these people are are terrible and not worth your blood pressure rising. Please call someone else.

The pipe from our kitchen down through the foundation and out of the house cracked and broke. Ugh! Water leaked whenever we turned on a faucet. Vintage Plumbing repaired the pipe inside the house, removed a chunk of our driveway, dug under the foundation, repaired everything, and restored the driveway properly. They did a super job. They got us fixed up pretty fast, too. Entirely satisfied!

First American Home Warranty sent vintage plumbing out because we did not have hot water and our electric hot water heater kept tripping. The technician was on the phone the entire time. He basically didn't do anything then told me that he wasn't sure what the problem was but that the warranty probably wouldn't cover it as it was likely due to us turning the hot water heater up. Mind you, we turned the hot water heater up slightly but it was still well below the max line and that should not cause the hot water heater to trip. He informed me the unit was Rheem and under warranty (it is a Bradford White and not under warranty). Surprise, the warranty company has now denied the claim because we are missing a quick disconnect which the technician never even mentioned nor is it required by code so this was all basically to get our $85 deductible and not actually do any work. Vintage Plumbing will not answer the phone or call me back. I am very unhappy with this company.

Sent out by my warranty company, they completely missed the cause of the leak under the sink indicating that the faucet sprayer was cracked. The plumber (and I use that term loosely) claimed he would have to order the $24 part and left. Warranty company called and said the plumber reported the 15 year old sprayer was cracked by other than normal wear and tear (huh? It was leaking around the gasket when the water was on, not a crack and it wasn't the source of the drip under the sink when the water wasn't on). I called at the suggestion of my warranty company but they never returned the call. Not the way to do business. And while I understand the warranty company's role in coverage, it is the report of the plumber that defines what the issue is and whether it's in their scope. This report was blatantly incorrect and went so far as to say the "crack" was caused by excessive force (I'm 65, wish I had it in me regardless that's not where the leak was). The failure to return the call certainly wasn't the warranty company either. So I suggest you take your plumbing needs elsewhere.

Extremely incompetent scammers. Twice they've come to my home through the warranty service company and misdiagnosed my plumbing issues. Both were very simple fixes where they 1. claimed it was not an issue at all, but the leak continued for weeks causing severe ceiling and wall damage. 2. Said that a simple clogging issue required major tile and floor removal. Neither were accurate diagnosis. They say just enough to get their service fee from First American home warranty and quickly go to the next job. It's really frustrating. I've called their management team, but they do not care and defend their horrible work. I question whether these are real plumbers... cannot be trusted.

First American sent Vintage, so I was worried when I looked them up on yelp ahead of time and the bad reviews. The technician came out and fixed my sewer main blockage. He snaked it from several locations until he was able to break through and gave me some good plumbing tips along the way.
