First time Villara customer taking advantage of a direct mailing offer for an A/C tune-up for $77 regularly $139. Excellent communication with professional friendly attitude from their technician Giovanni Moreno. His well prepared after service report with photos was thorough and comprehensive. our house is not even 4 years old and we have had so many problems. They have been to our home 6 times and every time something different is wrong and now the it's not working at all. it has been 90 degrees in my house for over a week now and they want to charge us $7000 for repairs that are under warranty . my husband has stage 4 cancer and can not handle the heat. we have called them multiple times a day and trying to get a call back and someone to help us is impossible. We should not be having these problems with a unit that isn't even 4 years old!!! beyond frustrated.

we purchased a 2021 residential property built by Lennar in Elk Grove last March 2024. we started using the AC on the 2nd week of June. We notice that something wrong with our condenser. The thermostat is on but the AC is not running and sometimes the thermostat is off but AC is running and the condenser fan is on and off and very noisy. I asked a friend who has a HVAC business to check the unit. He found out the yellow wire is not connected in the furnace and the furnace cover is not properly screwed because of the missing nuts and used only an aluminum tape. I contacted the builder and referred the VIllara as the original installer. Their technician came and inspected the unit a loose bolt in the condenser fan caused the noise and the compressor is already damaged and not producing cool air. The yellow wire supposedly use for the condenser is cut somewhere in the middle of the wall. To run the unit the green wire used for both fan and condenser. I google online that wrong electrical wiring caused the compressor to damaged and burn out. They void the warranty because according to them they did not received complains and the electrical wiring and furnace cover might be the fault of the original owner. They are charging $5,533 for the labor installation of new compressor plus the rewiring. I contacted a lawyer and advised me to go to Small Claim Court in Sacramento County.

I was very frustrated that my home was built in 2018 and I've been having trouble with my tankless water heater. I was very pleased that David Barless took the time to talk to me about what was happening with the system. He even showed me how I can take care of my home going forward so I can extend the life of my home. He was very generous with information and really put me at ease. I wish all of the contactors I work with was this professional and kind.

Nah, my experience is all bad news with the HVAC side. My wife signed up for an 'annual maintenance plan'. System was working fine when they show up for the AC maintenance visit, but the tech basically unplugs my system and tells my wife we need a new compressor. At a disrespectful price gouging mark up, btw. The quote they sent doesn't even provide a breakdown on parts and labor. They also managed to set up a sales meeting with my wife to buy a brand new system. Wonder what that price would have been.

Huh? Bro, are you for real? I called another company, they came the same day, paid a couple hundred bucks for some refrigerant and cleaning. The cool air flows again. hmmm

A spade is a spade. I think they're predators, especially of women who may not have knowledge of HVAC, or anybody else who will feed the ponsi scheme. Once I found
out and told her she was pissed and called to cancel the maintenance agreement. They said we gotta write a 10 page dissertation, get the Governor to stamp it, and send a formal complaint. Tell me who writes letters in 2024. Bro? Again, nope. Bad business practices, predatory behavior, unnecessary up selling. I got more, but now I'm tired and gotta go find a #2 pencil to hand write my letter. It's that bad.

Maybe the men they deal with get better pricing, and if so, perhaps I'm misguided. Everyone has to eat, even snakes I guess.

bought a new lennar home. My experience with Vallara hasn't been very good. moved in may 2023. the weekend we moved in the house a small heat wave hit and the AC wouldn't work. we called in an emergency repair, the system was void of refrigerant. they filled it same day, less than 2 weeks later it happened again. a leak was expected, but the leak wasn't ""finally"" addressed until april 23 2024. they send different techs nearly every visit. They say they will do specific tests or repairs but don't follow their own instructions. As of now, the issue was a bad weld their techs did at the outside unit AFTER replacing the coil unit outside in january 2024. They refilled the refrigerant at least 4 times on their dime. this is nearly a full year of repeat appointments for the same refrigerant issue and this yelp review is my only recourse.

may 23rd 2024 and I am updating this review. I am impressed and satisfied with the diligence they have shown to get my system working properly, despite the many repeat visits over the course of the last year and the frustration that comes with repeat visits.

Raul gave excellent service the entire time he was here. He hit the ground running trying to figure out the problem, crossed all his T's and dotted all i's. He explained everything perfectly in a way that we could understand. The quote we received was $1500 cheaper than the first company we went to. The only reason I gave a 4 starts opposed to a 5 is because you can tell with new home builds that Villara just slaps things together and calls it a day. They use 2 different metals and don't use all of the same brand pieces on the inside of the unit. There wasn't a wet switch which is should be in any home, but apparently they get away with doing the bare minimum. It's unfortunate hearing this from multiple people in the community who used to work either for them or for companies who serviced their equipment. Raul gave them the 4 stars and he definitely deserves recognition!

Watch out for racist Jim. He will not say anything up front but wait until he turns his back. He'll just start talking reckless. Oh yea also rides around with an open container(beer) on company time and vehicle. Hopefully they got rid of him and the rest of the racist people working here.

Plumbing system inspection by Timothy W. was very thorough and fixed several issues besides the tankless water heater flush.
