Walter came to inspect (what I believed to be) a plumbing issue under my house in the crawl space, but he correctly diagnosed it as a non-plumbing issue; rather, it was a foundation/gutter issue. Not only that, but he thoroughly explained what he observed the actual issue to be and steered me in the right direction to further my research. Other plumbers would've charged a hundred dollar (or two) just to give me a ""report"" like that. Walter was detailed/meticulous yet straight-to-the-point even in such simple inspection; he told me what the problem was from looking at it, yet he still went under the crawl space as well as inspecting the surrounding landscape/building material just to make sure. I was glad, because contractors who diagnose/inspect carefully end up doing the best work--they won't overlook the details.

Also, Walter's a great, honest guy. If you're reading this, I'm sure you've dealt with your fair share of poor/shady contractors--you can usually get a sense of them within a minute or two of talking with them. I just don't see that in Walter. I'm glad I've already found a plumber in LA whom I can trust as a young home owner and investor. Thanks Villacortas Plumbing!

Walter, the owner, checked what needed to be done and gave us a quote which was very reasonable.

My experience with Walter was down-to-earth while being professional.

I'm fairly handy, however when it comes to plumbing [and electrical] - I call in the pros. My specific issue was a kitchen sink issue, clogged with some leaking pipes. Walter fixed the issue right away, and also made a made an important recommendation on modifying the water pressure - which could potentially creating some future expensive plumbing issues.

I had a sense he wasn't going to charge me for the appointment, since the fix was quickly resolved, however I paid him for the requested issue, and I'll most likely hire him to install a water pressure regulator for my home.

I called him 7:00 pm while i was so disappointed because it was late. He showed up in less than an houre, very reliable & professional. Great service with a reasonable price compared to other places that I've called before I find him.
