avoid like the plaque matt is just a rough plumber he does not know finish plumbing, he is impatient and just has no clue about installing finish plumbing fixtures, dont trust him with your expensive fittings, he does not want to wait for proper replacement parts and trys to finish fast and cheap using home depot parts to temporary fix a decorative fixture so he can charge to come out again tried to duke us!!! better off calling mike diamond plumbing they smell good to, matt had this foul odor on him from getting out of a sewer repipe, next time schedule yourself when you have time to be presentable when coming to a decorative place

My experience with Matt and Viking Plumbing was outstanding. My water heater of questionable age and declining ability decided to give up the ghost this morning, and I was faced with having to replace it on very short notice. I called around and had a very negative experience with one of the major home improvement stores, so my folks (who were helping me find someone to come out the same day) started calling local shops and we found Viking.

From the beginning, it was straightforward, to the point, and fast. I spoke to Matt on the phone and he gave me a quote and an estimated window for installation that far exceeded my expectations. He arrived on time, less than two hours after we called him, and he drained, removed, and replaced the hot water heater for exactly what he quoted us. No extra fees, no hidden costs. Matt gave me a quick walk through of what I needed to do as far as maintenance and upkeep, and that was that.

The bottom line is that Matt was a very professional individual that did quality work on short notice. I'm extremely happy with the service, and will keep his information handy for future plumbing work I need help with. Thank you again!

I can't recommend Matthew enough. I met him when I was getting quotes to replace my main sewer line (including clay bursting the clay sewer line under my yard) and all of my old drain pipes under my house. He had the best price and did a phenomenal job. Then I hired him to renovate my guest house. In addition to handling all the plumbing (sewer, water line, gas line), Matthew also did all the framing of interior walls, complete bathroom install, kitchen cabinet install, all the electrical and lighting including recessed lights, appliance install, baseboards and trim, window install, stucco work, etc. Then I hired him to redo my entire laundry room-electrical, cabinet install, reroute all plumbing, install laundry sink. I've already referred him to a few friends too. Phenomenal work, always responds quickly, very fair prices and great guy.

We had 3 old toilets replaced with 3 new toilets and all that might entail (pick-up, take- away etc.).

I checked-out plumbers over about a 2 month period.

My sister called me at 10 pm last night. She said she had a bad water leak under her kitchen sink. I called Viking Plumbing and by the time I drove the to North Hollywood Matt was already there and fixing the problem. What I liked most was the price was reasonable and he helped her clean up all the water on the floor. Great Plumber are hard to find! Thanks Matt you guys rock!

It's great having a plumber that also does electrical work. We had Viking Plumbing out last week to install a tankless water heater. The new water heater required a power source, so we had Matthew and Alex install a couple exterior outlets around the house. They had the entire job wrapped up in 1 day. Our downstairs toilet started to have issues with flushing and it started flooding. We didn't know who to call but we were referred to Matthew by a close family friend. We were concerned we weren't going to have any help for 24 hours and would have to shut off all the water to the house. Lucky for us, Matthew was able to come within an hour and 1/2 of calling. He was polite, a great listener and an excellent customer service provider. He pinpointed what was wrong and fixed it right away. A true superhero in disguise!

I called Matt after getting a few other bids to fix a bubbling tub and toilet. It turned out that the sewer line was backed up and our older house needed a clean out installed to even be able to see what the problem was. Matt came out and was able to quickly diagnose the issue for free and gave me a considerably better price on the clean out install than the others I had called.

He came back the next day, installed the clean out and discovered that the main sewer pipe was overrun with roots and broken in a couple places. Again after assessing where the sewer line ran, he gave me a very fair quote to replace the main line. He communicated any potential problems, including the need to cut into our driveway if access was somehow blocked.

A day and a half later, everything was fixed, no need to cut concrete and all back in working order. I found Matt very honest, communicative and skilled. He made the process understandable and affordable when it was looking like it was going to be a much more time-consuming and expensive job.

We'll definitely be calling again if we have any plumbing needs!
