I highly recommend viking plumbing. However, this time service wasn't good. Poor quality. On October 13 2015, I had roto rooter service for my old house in wauwatosa. Two people came out and spent 1.5hrs or so. I thought they did a good job. 3 mo later my sewage was completely backed up and flooded entire basement. I called them back and told them this was unusual. Tech on call was super nice but he had to charge a lot of money to come out again. So I decided to try other company with 90 days work guarrantteed. Turned out there were so many roots he had to spend a lot of time getting out and in his opinion, viking didn't fully complete unplugging work. He said that he has seen 8 months where problem came back up but never 3 months. We all pay good money for plumbing service. I understand a good company like Viking still makes mistake but they are such a expensive thing to do. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this company for this service. (See pictures)

This company is now known as Viking Plumbing. We had a major problem with our water main in a 90 yr old home on the eastside of Milwaukee. We called Viking to do the work. They set an appointment,showed up on time, did an excellent job of assessing the issues, and most importantly ""fixed"" the problem. The plumber had great knowledge of the old plumbing, completed some difficult work, and saved us a lot of headaches. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for great work at a fair price. I had Viking Plumbing (the name they normally use) out for a simple job and Kevin came out in the 2 hour window they gave me. He had everything he need to fix the problem and was done very quickly. He even gave me a few tips on another problem I noticed with my washing machine. He explained the likely cause and how to fix it.

I'd recommend using this service. A couple of ways I'd like the service to improve is to send me an email confirmation of the job order with the details and once the job is done I'd like to be able to pay the bill online.

Unfortunately, I had to call Viking again. This is in no way due to poor service after the first fix. I was impressed that the professional, Julius, remembered me from three months ago. They were concerned with my problem and worked closely with me. They will be coming out to fix a larger problem-old pipes under the house, uggh! But due to my experience, I wouldn't go anywhere else. In the 12 years I've had my home, I've called plumbers at least 6 times. Wouldn't recommend the other 4-5 companies. Definitely would recommend Viking!

Viking came out and handled 3 small jobs for me, each one was done to perfection.

Admittedly, I thought these projects were pretty small, so I was surprised it took 3 hours to do them. If I had to do it over again, knowing it is $33 per 15 minutes, I would have assisted more.

Taagen squeezed us in their schedule today when our 17 year old hot water tank went out last night. It's Friday so we were so appreciative that this could get taken care of before the weekend. Chris, Dave and Julian were here right at 1pm just as Peg stated they would be. By 3pm we had hot water again and better water pressure in our upstairs bathroom sink since they discovered a clog which sometimes happens when the tank gets changed out. So a HUGE thanks to Taagen - now named Viking Plumbing - for being so efficient, professional and just super nice to deal with today!

Plumbers-the most underestimated bunch of people out there, especially when all your pipes in the house are clogged with cement and explode onto your basement floor with a soupy substance made of a month worth of leftovers and dishwasher water. A very nice man came over in a really timely manner and made my life so much more pleasant for $178. Great service, they send you a bill afterwards, which you can pay over the phone with a credit card. I will definitely use them again (hopefully I won't have to though) and recommend them to anyone. Thats a keeper!

We have been using Taagen Plumbing since a friend recommended them several years ago. They are tremendous.

They are always on time and do great work. They know their craft very well. Their prices are reasonable and they always work to keep their customers informed.

I wouldn't use anyone else.

Taagen is definitely not the cheapest and I wouldn't even say they are affordable seeing as how they charged me to remove a clog from the upstairs apartment of the duplex I own, then wouldn't help me out at all on the cost to complete the job when it was discovered that all they had done was push the clog down to the shower pipes of the downstairs apartment. Also, when I set up the initial appointment, he said he would call to let me know if the job would cost over $200 before proceeding. I never heard back from them after they made the visit about what was done or what the exact problem was....just got a bill close to $300 in the mail a week and a half later. Now it makes sense why they are not BBB accredited.

A backed up garbage disposal really put a wrench into my Monday morning and presumably my entire week. Checked with my trusty yelpometer and called Taagen Plumbing. These guys were polite and down to business on the phone and were able to get a plumber to me the same day. He was here, he replaced some faulty pipe configurations under the sink, unclogged the disposal and was gone. No paperwork to fiddle through as they billed us after the fact. Good work for a very reasonable price.

If you live on the East Side or just need some work done. I highly recommend Taagen Plumbing.

They really helped me out and put my week back on track.
