Recommended Customer Reviews

I have to say, after reading the list of reviews, I don't think folks are giving a truly fair assessment. While I am sure those who posted bad reviews are not happy, I think perhaps it is like Mark Twain said: "There are 3 sides to every story - his version, your version, and the what actually happened".
I have done business with this company for several years and personally know one of the owners. I know they are committed to being honest and doing a solid job on whatever they work on. I think what a lot of folks are experiencing is the frustration of having to wait due to the high demand for plumbers in the Austin area these days.
That said, I also reached out to Victory this past December for the purpose of having a commode replaced. I was initially told that Victory now only does "new construction only", but after speaking with some folks there, that was simply a temporary status due to the current workload. As I was not in a hurry, I simply asked if they could fit me in over the next few weeks. I am very happy to say that I got a call last Friday for a Tuesday appointment, and we absolutely LOVE our new commode.
The brand and design was that recommended by Victory, and it met our desire to have the ADA compliant ("comfort height") and the elongated bowl. The cost was very reasonable, and the plumber who came out on site ("Benny") was patient, cordial, and very accommodating. He did an excellent job of both installing the new one/removing the old commode, and he was careful to leave the house and bathroom in great shape afterwards.
I would personally highly recommend these folks, but I would also consider that it may be challenging to get on their schedule due to their high demand (so they must be doing something right!).
Bottom line, if you want honest work at a fair price working with pleasant individuals, I would call this company first.

Still won't come and help us after our warranty people for our brand new home, told us to call these people. We have water leaking in our ceiling and the hot weather isn't working but said its not considered emergency enough , but more of an inconvenience!!!! We have kids, and dishes and lives to move on with after getting hot water but not only that we would like to not have water damage and mold issues in our 3 month old house, thanks... I know first world problems huh??!

Gas leak! "We'll schedule you for a visit next week." Victory is the primary plumbing vendor for my new home in a new Leander subdivision. My wife, I, and my infant son are home. Wife and I can smell gas and are getting lightheaded. We call Atmos to find the gas leak. They do an excellent job. We call Victory (the original installer) to repair the line with the gas leak, and THEY TELL ME THAT THEY CANNOT FIX A GAS LEAK UNTIL FIVE DAYS LATER!! Outrageous. Avoid this company if possible. They also had to come out and repair a bad pipe connection/leak of theirs inside my wall upstairs a month after I moved in. One word: Careless. Two words: Cares less.

Do not have these guys install anything for your home.
I spoke to some guy named Duane, but all he wanted to do was find ways to charge me for their mistakes
I had these guys install a water softener loop in my house through the builder and they used pipes and fittings that only they could work on in order to install a water softener. When I called them they said that they could make it work with "universal fittings" for another $140/hr + parts which sounds ridiculous after I had already paid the hundreds of dollars to have a loop installed.
Technically they installed a "loop" but it was not a loop that works on anything I could buy in store. The manager tells me that it was a "heatlink" brand piping that I have to know before buying any couplings, but theres no way to figure that out since they had scraped off all of the writing on the pipes.

It took more time than we would have liked but Brohn and Victory have resolved issues and damages related to our flood at this point.

I purchased a new VB Home in September 2013 and back in May of 2015 we noticed that the kitchen island cabinet was warping. After investigation it was discovered that the cabinet trim was warping due to a drain cable not being crimped properly behind the sheet rock causing it to leak and grown mold on the sheetrock and damage the cabinet.
Victory (Dwayne J.) honored the 2 year plumbing warranty and took care of all expenses to get the cabinet, flooring, tear down, mold removal etc. After the new cabinets and plumbing fixtures were put in today we discovered a leak from our RO system faucet (not supplied by Victory) and they came out immediately after 7 PM to replace the cheap nylon fitting on the RO system with brass ones and get the job done right.
While everyone does mistakes and it can be expected from anyone in the construction business; I am really happy with how Dwayne addressed the entire issue and handled it.

I had Victory plumbing out last summer for a busted water pipe in my front yard. The initial quote was more than I had hoped, but the guy that came out to speak with us made some suggestions of things we could do ourselves to cut down on their labor. Maybe digging up a pipe isn't for everyone, but for us it was a great idea that saved us some money. Anyway - they did the work at around half the cost that a national chain quoted me.
A few weeks ago we realized our hot water heater was leaking - EEK! - so we called Victory back out. They responded on a Sunday morning and quickly identified the issue. They fixed it, but once we turned the water back on, the hot water heater sprung another leak. Imagine my displeasure when the plumber comes back and says, oh, I'm done, but it's still leaking.
Not happy.
However, he took the time to show me exactly what happened, why it happened, and what to do to fix it. Turns out a piece was installed upside down by the previous homeowners. He didn't have the piece, but he stood by and waited for us to run to Home Depot to pick up the part and then quickly finished the repair.
Reasonably priced, courteous, and honest. They'll definitely get our business again.

I had a problem with the service initially and did complain but Duane , the service manager, took care of everything and fixed all problems to my highest satisfaction so I have to say I would use them again and was very happy.

Below is the letter I sent to Victory Plumbing and I highly recommend them!
Mr. Darrell Christianson and Mr. Lee Johnson, I would like to thank your staff, especially Roberto for work Lennar Homes contracted with Victory Plumbing to complete at my home in Austin. Not only was Roberto courteous, he was what I would call a perfectionist--something that is hard to find today. He also displayed pride in the company and expressed what a great organization Victory Plumbing was to work for and how much he enjoyed being part of such a professional team. Although the work was small, only reinstalling a sink and toilet and reconnecting my range after Lennar had replaced my tile, it still makes a huge difference when skilled trade personnel come into your home that are qualified, courteous and have the experience to get the job done. Thank you again and please do than Roberto. Sincerely, Jean Scheid

WARNING! Do your research before picking these people.
We bought a new build six months ago, Victory did the plumbing for all of our neighborhood so I thought I'd give them a shout to install my water softener.
I spoke to Dwayne and he gave me an estimate of $280-$320.
Someone came out on a Friday and "worked on the softener". They couldn't install the softener because it had wires and hoses missing. How does a plumber not carry wires or hoses? Any who, they charged us $330 and they didn't even do any PLUMBING, the loop was untouched.
I called them the following business day and asked why it was more than the estimate when they didn't do anything but take the softener out of the box. I was charged for 90 minutes of labor, at $125/hour and also for parts.
After going back and forth about what they were REALLY charging me for and what work was ACTUALLY done, I got an email stating that they could come back and do the plumbing part for $330. That doesn't even include INSTALLING THE WATER SOFTENER! Which was the reason I was using their services in the first place! And the review about being spoken to in a condescending and insulting way is true, watch out for Nicole, she's snippy and won't let you get a word in!
I"m done dealing with them, time to look for a different plumber. I don't mind paying for services but I will not let someone trick me into paying for "services" when all they did was take the softener out of the box, that doesn't cost $330!
