The ancient upstairs bathtub faucet was leaking prolifically, and the flapper in the toilet tank needed replacing. When we switched off the water at the main in desperation, the kitchen faucet suddenly started leaking as well. Having tried calling plumbers recommended by friends, but none who could come out today, I found Vic on Yelp. He came round within 45 minutes, assessed the situation and gave me a quote. He proceeded to cap off the fixture (bathroom isn't used, and it was so stuck there was danger of it breaking off and water gushing into the bathroom), got a new kitchen faucet and installed it. He gave me sound advice on what all needed to be fixed/replaced (to all of which I agreed!). He worked fast and efficiently and explained everything he was doing. I was so grateful for the prompt and excellent service at a reasonable fee.

5 Star experience with Vic.

We have a dual flush toilet that had a fill valve replaced incorrectly by a handyman. The toilet wouldn't flush completely and would run longer than it should after a flush. Lesson learned; call a plumber for toilet repairs.

Enter Vic.

We selected him based on many outstanding reviews on multiple websites. He quickly replied to a voicemail and asked for a photo and video of the flush issue. Vic quoted a fair estimate, and told us he'd work us in as quickly as possible -- within a day or two.

An hour later he called back to say he could come by same day on his way to another job nearby. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem with the toilet quickly, and made the appropriate adjustments.

Vic is personable and professional. He's the kind of plumber whose contact information you want to have saved in your phone.

I had a grease clog in the kitchen branch to the main. It happened on a holiday and I was lucky Vic was available to come out in 30 minutes. He saved time going through the roof ventilation to snake it out and cleared it in 10 minutes. I appreciate Vic being available and saving my holiday and I highly recommend him.

Noticed a leak on the floor by the base of the toilet. Thought I needed a new toilet so I called Victor to see if I needed to go buy a toilet and if he can install it. After describing my issue, he said my the wax seal was probably worn. When he said the wax seal was worn, I thought he was talking about the caulking around the base and I was like that's not gonna fix the leak under the toilet!? I guess the wax seal is the ring that the toilet sits on? Victor came and took the toilet out and replaced the wax seal and put the toilet back on. He flushed the toilet a few times to make sure there was no leak. He cleaned up all the working area. He's a small business owner and I highly recommend him (at least for toilet related needs from my experience).

Today was the 2nd time we've used Vic's Handy Plumbing. The first time was a bit over a year ago when our kitchen sink was clogged. We have very old pipes and our landlord just doesn't care. He came out, climbed on our dangerous roof to get his snake down the pipes to unclog. He explained what we could do to prevent this in the future and we haven't had any problems with that sink since!

Fast forward to 2 days ago, yet another clog we couldn't troubleshoot ourselves in our bathroom sink. We even invested in a decent snake and couldn't do it ourselves. Vic showed up 4 hours after I called, snaked the line, checked for leaks and let us know what we could do with that sink to prevent toothpaste buildup in these old pipes, etc.

I trust this guy, and he's super friendly. Prices seem to be comparable to other places and honestly, I'd pick him over all of them in a heartbeat.

I had leaky faucets on both bathrooms. Vic was recommended by one of my neighbors in the community so I decided to give him a call and scheduled for the service. He's very punctual, arrived right on time knocking at my front door! And of course he helped on getting rid off the old faucets from the sink and installed new faucets perfectly. I felt sorry as the rusty faucets were very hard to be removed so he spent quite some time on it. Thank you Vic for your help.

The cold water washing machine valve was leaking & I called Vic's Handy Plumbing for a repair. He was able to do some initial pricing and troubleshooting over the phone with pictures. The leak was so bad we had to turn off our house's water until repaired. Vic was able to squeeze me in the next day after a cancellation. His prices are honest and his service is great!
