Unique K.Made a friend out of Bob. He was the lead contractor. We opened up our kitchen to the living area. We did it right by getting an engineer to verify the load bearing beam. We redid all of our bathrooms. He finished all of the items up until the end. Love working with VETS! Hope he posts pictures of our renovation.
Dave F.Vets Built is a touchdown. I knew the moment I met Bob he was our guy. Knowledgable, easy going and shows up when he says he will. Our kitchen flooded and we had already been burned once on this project before we found Bob. Such a breathe of fresh air. He was in consistent communication with us and wasn't afraid to call with bad news like supplier delays which weren't uncommon at the time. He gave us weekly updates on our project and I was never left guessing what's next and the timeline. We are very happy with the finished product. I trust Bob and he is the first guy I call now when I need some help. I have already used him twice on other projects with the same excellent results. Highly recommend VetsBuilt!
We did an addition to our home and I selected Vetsbuilt as a veteran I was looking for honesty, reliability and commitment to delivering quality. Bob at Vetsbuilt delivered everything I could have hoped for. With all the horror stories I've heard over the years about getting a project like this done I'm so happy I found Bob and Vetsbuilt.
We used VETSBuilt to help us in adding a cabinet piece to our kitchen. We had a large blank wall in our kitchen area and brought in Bob and team to help us evaluate what cabinetry type of solutions could work. He helped us through different options and we ended up settling on a large dry bar. It coordinates with our existing kitchen great and has been a great addition and was an INCREDIBLE value for the price. They were supportive and communicative along the way and we will definitely be using them for future projects in our home.
Thank you Bob and Dale!
Michelle C.Our experience with Vets was amazing from the first inquiry. We remodeled two bathrooms and replaced 2K in flooring that included removing a wall in our living room. I am in the business on the commercial side, and I can tell you that ""nothing"" in construction ever goes as planned. Even building an entire building, sub-contractors fail, leave you high and dry, or do sub-par work. What makes or breaks your project is your GC and their organization, communication, and seeing the project through until you are delighted.
Before we even signed the contract, Bob spent a fair amount of time with me on the phone and in-person helping me to finalize the design and materials. Anytime we had questions or concerns, Bob was answering our calls or texts almost immediately. He was honest and transparent about issues with subs which is really the most you can ask for in this industry. Unfortunately, no one can hire a full crew of different subs to work for them.
We will hire VETS again. I have many more projects in mind!
Good crews, good workmanship, flexible with minor changes added. Good communication with Bob through the project completion.
VETSbuilt renovated two bathrooms for us, and they did a wonderful job. Bob was responsive and attentive; and he honored his quote, even when things cost more than he expected. He and his team listened to what we wanted and took seriously every concern we had; which, if you've worked with many contractors, you know to be a rare trait. Every subcontractor he sent to us was polite and careful. They finished right on schedule, and their work is beautiful.
Marie K.Bob and his crew from VETSBuilt turned my 1970s ho hum house and my dream house!!!!!
Turned a 90 square foot old, ugly, unusable kitchen into a 250 square foot gourmet masterpiece.
Converted a a sunken living room, with a sunken firepit into a great room with spectacular views.
Turned my sunken master bedroom and dark, dank master bath into a luxurious master suite with amazing walk-in closet.
I would highly recommend vetsbuilt for any of your home improvement needs
I tried to get a quote for ~20k worth of work from this company and they came out, took notes, and said they would send me an itemized quote within in a week. A week came and went and I received no quote, I sent a text and got a response that they had been busy and will send it within another week. 2 weeks later I followed up again, still nothing. A month after that I followed up AGAIN, and nothing. They always had some excuse why they couldn't provide me with a quote, I really don't get it. They came out to my property but won't even send over their estimate, I've been actively trying to get there business and they could not care less. Original request was in June and I was still receiving excuses in October.
*UPDATE*
Now one of the owners is calling me a liar, I have attached a portion of the text conversation I had with them. I also record all of my phone calls, Bob would you like to listen to DJ telling me that you guys have accepted my business?
It's incredibly disrespectful to insult your potential customers, everyone who is considering this company should see how they treat people.
We hired Vetsbuilt in October on the recommendation of our realtor. We worked with Bob the entire time and he was very responsive. We had our old stone fireplace removed and replaced with laminate ""ship lap"" style tile. Jason did a great job on this! We love it. Jason was sure that we were part of all the decision making and he wanted us to be happy with the result. We also had some renovation done in the Master Bath which turned out very nice. Bob has some great subs that do awesome work. Shout out to George for his great work building the brick wall on the side of the house -- all in one day!
The only thing that keeps the review from being ""great"" is that daily estimations of what would be completed were very optimistic and not often realized. Toward the end of the project - which included several different items - resources were re-assigned to other projects.
However, with that being said, the work was complete by our deadline and definitely within our budget, which was a HUGE priority for us.
Many thanks to Bob and Jason and all who worked on making our house feel like our home!
