If you need a plumber for any residential work, Veteran's is ""it"". They are responsive, they are timely, they are skilled, they are competitive for pricing and as a customer you get priceless peace of mind in knowing the job has been done right by professionals.

We needed to call twice for leak emergencies (created by the plumbing sub used by the general contractor when this custom home was built) and once to install a missing component that same sub omitted. (Our next door neighbor used to own a plumbing company and when he saw the missing component, required by code, he asked ""Did a licensed plumber do this?"" Welcome to the slipshod work of the contractor I will not name.)

A little over a year ago when we had a leak emergency and to mitigate we had to turn off the house water we were in a pickle because it was a Friday afternoon and the two services my husband called had no openings until Monday or Tuesday of the following week, emergency or no. Veteran's was then recommended to us by an interior designer who said they were the best for responsiveness and quality of work. We called Veterans and after explaining the emergency they managed to fit us in late on Friday afternoon and fixed the problem.

Same this time when a bigger sized leak caused a lesser emergency. Because for this one while it meant my hubby had to turn off the water line to our water heater, where the leak was, so we didn't have hot water for morning showers, we did have cold water into the house to use. (As aside, thank goodness for my hubby's timing of taking out the trash on a Sunday night to see this leak shooting water at the garage wall that backs to the inside mudroom wall as there would have been water infiltration inside the house if we had been away when it happened.) Although Veterans has voicemail for emergency dispatch service for true emergencies, this was not one of those and so we called at 8:00 a.m. on Monday and explained the situation. They scheduled an appointment for the following day but assured us they understood the problem and would do their best to get someone out that day. Within a couple of hours Mike from Veteran's had arrived explained what had caused the problem, the wrong kind of fitting was used for the copper piping causing a chemical reaction that led to the leak, and restored our access to hot water.

We will have Veterans out again in a few days to replace a recirculating pump associated with the hot water heater. (As aside, that recirc pump means when we turn on hot water anywhere in the house it is instantly hot, no wasteful running water waiting on warm up. When we built a house 20 years ago in another state and the builder recommended this which was new to me, he said I would think good thoughts of him every time I stepped in a shower at home. He was not wrong and that was three houses ago and we've used recirc pumps every since. . ;-))

When Mike gave my husband the estimated price for parts and labor, this is a complete replacement of pump and lines, to change it out from the galvanized fittings (which led to the corrosion failure that cause the leak) to stainless fittings (which is what should have been used originally) we expected it would be ""spendy"" so we weren't surprised by the price. When Mike said he would understand if we wanted to check this out with others for pricing given it was a bigger ticket item, my hubby said no need, Veteran's always was responsive to emergencies, always did the work right and we absolutely trust them to provide pricing in the ballpark that allows their excellent business to function and treats customers fairly.

We are grateful customers for the business' integrity and a Veteran's Plumbing customer gets what they pay for and then some.

I had a broken toilet shut off valve which needed replacement. I didn't have the pex copper crimping tool so I had Veteran's Plumbing do the replacement. Ian did the work quickly as it was simple job but he took the time to explain how to do myself in the future by getting the tool at Home Depot. Definitely pleased and would recommend.

We had leak from freezing of hose spigot in our crawl space when we got back from vacation. Veterans Plumbing had such good Yelp reviews that we immediately called them. They had John( Johnny Pro) to our house within an hour. He was personable on the phone, but even more so in person. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within 30 minutes! Very professional and immediately inspired my confidence. I give my highest recommendation to Johnny Pro and Veterans Plumbing. 5 stars is not high enough! We need a new water softener and it will be installed by John in a few days. I brought this problem up, and felt no sales pressure from John. He clearly discussed options, such as trying to service our ancient water softener, but we decided to go with a mid grade new one. John also saw significant water damage in the crawl space and gave me a reference for a reputable contractor for an evaluation.He called in a few hours and I will make appointment for him to evaluate.

Called Veterans Plumbing to come out and diagnose a water heater problem. They were able to schedule me the same day and set an appoiintment that afternoon. Mike was on time and very thorough with his diagnosis of the problem. We discussed proposed solutions and I decided to replace a defective controller, as many issues had been reported with the one on my water heater.

Mike replaced the defective controller within an hour and we were back in business with hot water. Great customer service, attention to my problem, and excellent service.

Exceeded my expectations and I will call them again with future plumbing needs.

They absolutely exceeded my expectations! I chose them because of the years of experience, but also because of the large number and ratings of 5 star reviews, and I checked their reviews everywhere, not just here on Yelp. Communication is a big one for me also. Michael called this morning at a few minutes after 8 to let me know that he was going to pick up some parts and he would be here about 9, the time arranged for the job to start. It was a water heater replacement. Pretty common and not an emergency in my case. It was just old and I was being preemptive. Michael arrived on time and began the replacement. He was efficient, friendly, polite, informative, and a really nice young man. Veterans guarantees the installation, and the parts. Great service, great job, and I will use them for all my plumbing needs in the future. I will have to admit, I can be a tough with reviews. When the workmanship is substandard, or there is some other problem, I will speak up and I will give a not so good review. The opposite is also true. When I have received excellent service and a job well done, I will also praise the business. That is what this is...Praise! Scott S, (the owner) should be proud of his workmen. Michael was professional, amazing, and a knowledgable service rep. It is appreciated. BTW....The final bill was less than the original estimate. Always serendipitous.

Great communication!!! Very professional team. They were very efficient and quick at coming out for the initial assessment. One of the parts was on back order and they did a great job of keeping me in the loop and scheduled the work to be done as soon as the part came in. 100% would absolutely use again!

Excellent communications, showed up early, quote was accurate and in line with others so have received. In and out within two hours to replace a water heater, expansion tank, both water lines, the gas line and pan.

Replaced a Bradford-White with a Bradford-White; they are probably the longest lasting units available today. I highly recommend these guys.

I solicited 4 quotes for installing our water softener and filter and they were the best priced. The other quotes ranged from competitive to ridiculous. They guys showed up at the time we arranged and did a terrific job. Very professional and explained the whole system to me and the required maintenance. I definitely recommend them.
