I called in the afternoon and was told someone would be out between 2 and 5. Gary came to the house a bit after 2. He fixed two clogged sinks (one of which another plumber couldn't fix), answered all of my questions and gave me tips on how to avoid future problems. I'll definitely call Veteran's again thanks to Gary's professional and friendly demeanor.

I couldn't believe it! I had an emergency kitchen pipe break and had to turn all the water off in the house. I had guests arriving in the next hour and a down pour going on outside. It was tax day at approximately 7 PM in Fort Lauderdale. I called veterans only because they were close by. I never figured all the people on duty we're on the road. A nice lady on the phone said someone would call me soon. And someone did call me soon and arrived much sooner than I had anticipated. This giant of a man somehow fit under the sink and fixed it all within a half hour.(I was embarrassed because I had been working on it all day!). The bill was so much less than I had thought it would be, only $91. I was both relieved that the problem was solved and so happy with the cost. It is the next morning and I'm still so happy. Thank you Veterans.

Called to make an appointment. Was told dispatcher would call me back. Took 24 hours to get a call back. Finally got an appointment to install a water line for my ice maker for the next day. Plumber showed up and stated the job was too big to do today because the fridge was not next to the sink area which meant he would have to cut rhe wall (which I had expected). Then when I questioned him, he stated """"Listen lady..."""". I could not believe how rude he was. Honestly, it was very apparent he did not want to work that day because the job was not a major deal. Had he looked he would have found the water heater line in the wall behind the fridge.Update: Found a new plumber who connected my ice maker line in less than 30 minutes. All they had to do was connect into the water heater water line located on the backside of the wall the fridge was on.

OMG- They saved the day!!! Had Old School Plumbing out earlier and they lied to me and wanted to charge for work that didn't need to be done. Veterans was out within the hour and fixed the leaky pipe within 20 mns. and only charged me $120.00[you dont even want to know what OSP wanted to charge me]. I will use them every time. Thank you -Thank you

Well here I go with a 180 degree turnaround with regards to Veteran's. I had used their services for a number of things and was very happy with them, but then all my dealings were with their workmen; all very nice, polite, and completely professional. Unfortunately my central air conditioner bit the dust so I needed a new one. Doing this, unfortunately put me in the position of having to deal with their management and office. I'll spare all the details, of which there are too many to cover, but the hassle of """"this and that"""" paper work and crap nonsense over code compliances which I didn't think there was any need bother me with, just about drove me nuts. Then, as the last straw, the one that sort of broke this proverbial camel's back, I was, at their request, to meet with a person between nine and noon. Well, guess what? By two o'clock, no phone call and no one shows up. So, I call, get some feeble piece of excuse nonsense, then call the main office, all during regular business hours, and get an answering service as someone was out of the office for the day with no one else filling in. Frustrated, I phoned one of their competitors which immediately sent a rep over to my place. Within 15 minutes I had the order placed, no hassling involved, plus a scheduled date for installation. Best off, and everything ordered being essentially the same, an unbelievable $1,000 big bucks less which reduction was in part due to an FPL """"energy saver"""" payment credit that Veteran's had advised me that I was not entitled to receive. I really like the workmen at Veteran's but their sales or office staff are a bunch of set in their way horror shows to deal with.
