Although I eventually did not end up using them and their services, they have the sense of urgency and were the first to send someone over to examine the work and provide me with a quote (which was pretty competitive). They also followed up with an email.

Awesome service . My shower knob was stuck and the valve was not turning off. They came the same day and finished the job quickly. Also co incidently there was a leak near my sprinklers which we would have not noticed, they located the leak and helped me to shut off the leak. Reccommend their prompt response and service.

Veteran Plumbing Service is prompt, professional, and competent. I had a backed up kitchen sink, and it refused to be snaked out from inside. So VPS went up on my roof and cleared the clog from there. Afterwards, they gave good advice on how I might avoid getting this type of clog again. Could not be happier with them and will definitely use them the next time I need a plumber

If you are reading this review, most likely you were like me looking for a plumber that did not upswell you on everything, then charge you these incredibly high prices for parts and pieces that cost less than a few hundred dollars. I shopped around a lot!!! I spoke to 5 plumbers, three coming to my house and one company that just never showed and I could not stand any of them so I looked again on Yelp. Lo and behold VPS.

I called and wondered if I was wasting my time- no way! They rocked. I spoke to Dennis the owner, a retired navy engineer and family man with a lineage of family who are plumbers throughout the US.

Dennis came to my house and was beyond friendly, accommodating and understanding. He walked me through what we needed done, and how his workmanship is done at a higher caliper. There was zero pressure. He was the first plumber I actually trusted. We determined that the PRV and emergency shut off needed to be replaced, in addition to a new flange on the gas fireplace, and talked to us about our water heater.

The very next day our water was fixed and the day after our fireplace. Wow what service. Well they have earned my business for life!

On a Saturday afternoon, our shower sprung a major leak and we had to shut off the water supply to our entire house. I called 9 different plumbing companies and messaged even more on Yelp to find one who would do an emergency, weekend service. Veteran Plumbing Service responded quickly on Yelp (most other companies never even returned my call) and sent technician Drake over first thing the next morning. Drake was not only polite and a friendly person, he was incredibly professional. He assessed the situation and then walked me through the pros and cons of two possible solutions to the problem. He then expertly fixed the leak. Payment was easy (they accept check, cash, or card), and it was honestly a pleasure to work with them. I cannot recommend VPS highly enough.

If a person is going to have to deal with something stressful like plumbing, Veteran Plumbing Services should be your ""Go To"" .. from Estimate to Completion .. everything was done smoothly .. from the communication to the office staff all the way to the technician.

Each member provided excellent attention to detail, always transparent, kind/courteous, quality work.

I took some additional photos to show what was found during the work and then the final product.

Naturally there are those unforeseen issues that arise when working in dark, old spaces, so it was actually no surprise that the repair had to go a little be further, but during the estimate stage all of that was considered up front, so it was possible to make the best choice.

Veteran Plumbing replaced my water heater and did a great job. Jim McCarthy was my tech and he kept me up to date on his arrival time. He arrived with all the materials needed to complete the job. He worked quickly and didn't mind a question or two from me as he did the work. He made sure everything was operational and I was comfortable with how it worked and what to expect. Their price was competitive and their customer service very good. I already have plans to have them back for a few other repairs, and would definitely recommend Veteran Plumbing to others.

Cannot say enough about how great Dennis and Drake were. Came out right away to fix our leaking pipe. It was very clear they know what they are doing. They fixed the problem and were totally honest.
