Absolutely terrific service from Alan. He came to replace 1 ceiling fan, 2 porch lights and install a solar motion detection light. Received emails & texts to confirm appointment and received another reminder text the day before the appt.. Then received a text to let me know he would arrive in 30 minutes on the day of the appt.
Very professional, cleaned up & took old ceiling fan away so I didn't need to think about getting it hauled away. Also, very friendly & a great value, as I sent inquiries to a total of 3 companies & he was the only one who responded. Very professional - thank you Alan and thank you to your partner too!

I called Alan because my refrigerator stopped cooling. It was a Saturday (on Superbowl weekend) and he answered the phone immediately. He researched the issue based on my refrigerator model and called back quickly with what he thought the resolution was. Recommending a new fan that could be ordered on Amazon. Once the fan came in we easily installed it in a few minutes and our refrigerator was back to working perfectly. Alan did not want to be reimbursed for his time and knowledge but I insisted. He saved us hundreds of dollars with his knowledge. I had called a few other appliance repair companies before reaching out to Alan and they all wanted at least $175 to look at the issue and quoted me over $700 to repair it. Alan is lifesaver. I highly recommend him for any home repair or handyman needs.

Allen installed a new range cooktop and assembled a 4 burner black stone grill that had damage from shipping. He was very detail oriented and his pricing was very reasonable. Allen had to cut our granite countertop as our new range was 1/4"" larger than the opening, it fits and works perfectly. Our black stone was severely damaged in shipping, he worked hard to get the metal reshaped so it would fit together and work properly. We couldn't be happier with the install and build. I would highly recommend him for your handyman needs!

I had some handyman projects, so I went online to search for highly rated handymen in my area. I found 5 of them -- two of them never responded to my inquiries, but three did. All three were responsive to my requests and all the pricing was pretty much in the same range. Veteran (Alan) was in the middle regarding the price he quoted, but I had a feeling that would be the best for us.

I was obviously right. He was responsive to my multiple changing SOWs and on the day of the install, he showed up right on time with his son as his helper. The first day, he needed his son to help since I had an 85"" TV to hang and also some pretty heavy wall mounted laundry room cabinets. He hung two TVs and installed the mounting brackets for me, and also installed 4 wall cabinets and 4 floor cabinets, along with a sink unit with plumbing.

His estimate of time was spot on, and he took exactly the time he thought he might need to do the job. He was fast, efficient, courteous, cleaned-up after the job, and even took away the mountain of cardboard and packing materials that all the cabinetry and other stuff came in.

I am a stickler for good customer service and for good work that you pay for, so if I say this guy is good, you can take that to the bank!!

Postscript: I cannot believe he was so few reviews. I would think that everyone he works with would give him a good review. Also, as of this writing, he has two Yelp reviews that are not recommended. Why?? Those two reviews are 5-star reviews too and seem accurate and appropriate for what they say.

I recently used Alan for a couple of projects in a house that I was renovating. We were running behind on a few items and also needed a little more experience on others. I had to call him out a couple of times for things that kept popping up. Alan was always very responsive to my texts, he communicated regularly, he showed up when he said he would and he made sure the job(s) were done right. Specifically, he hung some remote control ceiling fans, some floating shelves and a fireplace mantel. He was honest, fair and thorough. What more can you ask? I plan to use him soon on a few projects that I have been putting off because they require and extra hand in my own home.
