Regularly, clients ask us, “What’s the story behind Veteran Air come from? Here’s the background.
On both background, my family has a deep legacy of supporting our country. My dad was a proud American with a generational background. His dad and siblings served in our armed forces. Growing up, my father taught values of decency, kindness, and general human decency. Following my family, I served in the U.S. Army and served in the 11th Cavalry as a healthcare provider.
As of now, my son Joseph is serving in the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell.
As I built my business, I remained committed on assisting Veterans, first responders, emergency responders, and rescue workers. They have earned it, and I always offer them a little extra, just as they did for us.
For the past two decades in the air conditioning industry, I realized that I cherished the moments I spent with the older adults in our local area, notably those who defended our freedom in overseas conflicts. The stories they shared would keep me in their houses long after I wrapped up the service of their HVAC systems, and I found myself lowering the costs I provided them and putting in extra effort, as though I felt a debt of gratitude.
As my career progressed, I continued on supporting military personnel, police, emergency responders, and rescue workers. They have earned it, and I will consistently offer them a bit more, just as they did for our community.

I had them fix what another company could not and was very satisfied but they then came back to replace a circuit board and again was really satisfied . But after they left that same day the blower motor stopped working and they came back about 5 hours later and said I need a new blower motor and at that point I pretty much decided to do so because of the heat. Why I am disappointed is the costs of the fan was almost 1000.00. I understand that they have to make a profit but I checked with 2 other companies and it seems a little high because they had been working on it that day and had just checked everything and said it was all good. Just my 2 cents worth. Thanks David Henderson

I had nothing but great service from all facets of their business: sales, install, field service and phone service. They solved problems that the not so Cool Today guys couldn't figure out. I strongly recommend veterans!!!!

After reading some other comments about this company..it really seems all too familiar with our exact situation. Making me wonder how many people they had buy new ac units when all it needed was some small pcb board or parts

My original review was only 2 stars because I was not happy with the overall pricing and a lack of communication by the tech. However, once the company became aware of my dissatisfaction they contacted me and worked with me to make me comfortable with being able to recommend them to others for A/C service.

Called veteran air to diagnose problem with our ac. I was in Illinois and couldn't do it myself because I am hvac tech in the past. They tried to talk my wife into a new unit and then stated we needed a new blower motor for $828 and would take a week to get part. I decided that I could not leave my family with no ac for a week in Florida summer heat and I took an emergency flight next day back. I was able to obtain a blower motor next day air for $350 before I flew back, based on tech diagnosis. When I got back, the blower motor was fine as was our unit. The problem was the fan control board and the relay was bad. Cost me $28 overnight shipped. Installed it myself and the so called bad blower motor and bad unit has been running just fine. Too bad veteran air wouldn't reimburse me for the emergency air ticket back to Florida nor my shipping costs to ship new blower motor back, after I spoke with Kat. They did not make me pay their $79 diagnostic fee though. Guess I'm lucky that I saved $8000 on their quote for a new unit. Never again will I call them or recommend them.

Best experience I have ever had with an HVAC company! We had another company called Air and Energy come out and state we needed a new system (7 year old Trane). I got a 2nd opinion and Veteran Air did a full check and discovered zero leaks. The other company did our system was corroded but showed us no pictures. They said none of our equipment was under warranty so I called Trane and they said all functional parts would be covered until 2024 even though we were not original owners. Blake with Veteran Air called prior to coming out and arrived friendly, put on shoe covers, etc. He and the person with him explained everything, took pictures, were professional and courteous. I would absolutely call them for all HVAC needs.

Technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made some good recommendations without trying to sell us on something. He was on time, wore a mask and was very respectful.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They low-balled me on a competitive bid to """"replace my existing"""" 2 ton A/C system. I didn't realize they were low-balling me so their low price won the bid. On the day of installation I watched them unload the equipment and said to the tech doing the install that this A/C compressor seem a lot smaller than my existing system's compressor. The tech explained that was because this new system was not a heat pump system like my existing one. I told the installer to hold off and called the company. They told me that I didn't need a heat pump for a bedroom. I explained that it was not for a bedroom, it was a large mother-in-law suite that I use as an office every day. And that I wanted a replacement for my existing system not something different. We went round and round and they finally replaced it with a heat pump compressor for the same price that they bid. When the tech walked me through my new air handler I learned that the filter size for my new air handler was smaller than the one being replaced. The tech explained that was because the new air handler was a 2 ton unit and the one being replaced was a 2 1/2 ton one. Again I called the company. They said that the 2 ton air handler was a match for the 2 ton compressor. I explained that the 2 1/2 ton air handler was because of the size of my office and the large windows with direct sunlight. I repeated that I wanted the existing air handler replaced, not a smaller one. They refused to replace it with a 2 1/2 ton unit unless I paid them an additional $2,500. I did some research and found that the difference in price between a 2 ton unit and a 2 1/2 ton unit was approximately $220, not $2,500 In summary, they low balled me to win a competitive bid and then tried to up-charge me by an additional $2,270, instead of $270, for the correct air handler replacement. At no time did they admit that they low-balled me or made a mistake. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

I previously wrote a review about Veteran Air in regards to their warranty service. They have since went above and beyond to correct the service issue. After speaking with their GM, Ryan, I feel confident they will provide stellar service in the future. I'll continue to use them for my AC needs and maintenance and recommend them to my friends and family. Their service manager did an awesome job on the replacement.

I had another AC company come out to do routine service on my 9 year old AC system that they had replaced a coil a year ago. I was told my coil was filthy, my returns were dirty and my duct work was inefficient causing the coil to be dirty. They suggested a new system. I called Veteran's for second opinion. I was called 20 minutes before Jon Curtis showed up at my door, took a look and tested my system which he said was in good working order as the tests all came back within normal limits. Jon suggested that since the system is working well that he would not recommend a new system until I needed one. The quote I received by Veterans was thousands less than the quote from the other company. When it comes time for my new system I will be calling Veterans
