Often, clients ask us, “Where did the name Veteran Air originate? Let me share the story.
On both background, my family has a rich tradition of dedicating themselves to our country. My father was a proud citizen with a generational background. My father’s dad and siblings served in our military. As I was raised, my father instilled lessons of decency, courtesy, and general human decency. Continuing my family, I served in the military and served in the 11th Cavalry as a healthcare provider.
Today, my youngest Joseph is serving in the 101st Airborne at Ft. Campbell.
As I advanced in my career, I focused on assisting veterans, first responders, emergency responders, and first responders. They have earned it, and I will consistently provide them a little extra, just as they did for our community.
Over the last twenty years in the HVAC industry, I discovered that I enjoyed the moments I spent with the older adults in our neighborhood, notably those who served our freedom in overseas conflicts. The stories they shared would enthrall me in their houses long after I finished the service of their air conditioning units, and I found myself discounting the costs I delivered them and going the extra mile, as though I felt a debt of gratitude.
As I built my business, I continued on supporting Veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, and rescue workers. They warrant our support, and I always provide them a little extra, just as they have done for our community.

We went to Veterans Air due to their """"supposed"""" service, but after the company was sold the service went in the bucket. Constant nickel and dime you even when they said they would fix the AC unit. Not only was this never fixed, but charges for extra items so the AC wouldn't clog were a misleading, as they still charged for the service call. Now the whole unit is out right before the holidays. Beware these 5 star reviews you may see. They are not a true statement to what is going on at this business. No return calls from supervisors either. Look at Next Door also. Never will recommend them to anyone!

Terrible service, rude telephone contact. Does not keep appointments and give the run around

We had the best experience with this company. Ray came out for an estimate and was was so knowledgeable and professional and friendly. He got the job done with something that many plumbers couldn't do. He was efficient and friendly. He told us about the company and what else the company handles as far as repairs and construction. So after the job was complete, we then showed him bathrooms we want to have redone and we will definitely be using this company for these other jobs as well. They will come out next week, in fact. We didn't realize the capability of this company and we are happy to have found them. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional to say the least. The company should be proud to have Ray with them as he truly cares for the customer and getting the job done perfectly. Thank you.

I had been using Veteran Air for several years and been satisfied until the morning I called them when my 3 year old Trane unit stopped working. I was informed they could not come out for 6 days. This was in our hot month of August. They told me they were just too busy, but I needed to know that when they would come out there might be a charge. They also informed me that my maintenance contract expired 10 days ago. I said I was never informed of the renewal, which I renewed during that phone call. After figuring out my drain line problem, I called Veteran Air back, only able to leave a voicemail and wait again. When they finally called back, I cancelled my service call and my maintenance contract and told them their service has gone down hill in the last 1-2 years. I would no longer need their lack of service in the future. I have since learned that many of my neighbors on our shared website have experienced similar problems with Veteran Air. What has happened to your company??

I had used Veteran Air for a couple of years and when it came to needing a water heater, I called them. A man came out and confirmed the water heater had ruptured and needed to be replaced. He also said that because of the age of my mobile home the piping needed to be replaced as well. The work was completed and I thought everything was fine. But immediately after I noticed my air conditioner not cooling my home to the set temperature on the thermostat. This went on for a while and my electric bill was much higher because the unit would not turn off. I called VA to come out and check it. A man came out and checked my system and said everything was fine with the unit but there was a tear in my insulation under the home beneath where the water heater is and the new piping was installed. I informed him of the recent work and he agreed that the insulation was not repaired after the work was done. He took a picture and said he would forward it to his boss. About four to five weeks went by with me being in contact with about 4 employees via text or voicemail. But VA would not take responsibility for the damage and they would not repair it. I wrote a letter to the owner and sent it to him receipt requested back. When the letter was received I got a text stating they were cancelling my next service call. I still haven't heard from them and I guess I will have to pay someone else to come out and do the repair because my electric bill continues to be about $60.00 higher than normal each month. I will not use VA ever again

We had the worst experience with this company. A technician, """"J"""" came out to give us an estimate for installation of a whole-house generator which we need to run medical equipment. We received the estimate promptly and accepted shortly thereafter. """"J"""" came out to do the installation but immediately said he felt awful and was going to the hospital. He was out of work for more than several weeks. They sent a different installer who could not figure out how """"J"""" planned to do the work so he left. No one contacted us despite my phone calls and messages left for the scheduling manager. Finally we did get a phone call to say """"J"""" would be out to do the work. """"J"""" did not show up and no one called us. I called them only to find out that """"J"""" had taken his family away due to the impending hurricane. While that is understandable the scheduling manager could not/would not send someone else out to do the work despite our need to run medical equipment in the event of a power outage. The lack of communication and customer service is appalling.

I haven't had AC since Monday. It's Friday. Veteran Air has sent THREE people over to repair my AC-and it is 85#F in here. None of the people did any repairs, the AC is set at 76#F, it stopped at 82#F, and is climbing quickly. I feel like I am dealing with the Three Stooges of AC work. Do NOT use these people. Now they are sending a FOURTH person over, a """"supervisor,"""" and I doubt very seriously if he is any better, what really angers me is these clowns installed my AC only eight years ago. AVOID THESE PEOPLE LIKE THE PLAGUE-they don't know what they are doing at all. I feel that I have been royally ripped off big-time. I give them a minus 100 for service which is NOT service. Amateurs.

We want to thank Eugene and Maciej at Veteran Air for all their hard work!!! Eugene and Maciej were amazing repairing and replacing our bathroom plumbing and sewer line for my retired Navy elderly father's new handicap rollin shower. Eugene and Maciej were quick, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, extremely talented, neat, organized and the top plumbers in town. Thanks guys! Thank you Danny, Ricki and staff for coming to our aid immediately when we called Veteran Air. Then finding a quick solution to workout our major plumbing and sewer issue during our handicap rollin shower installation. We can't thank you all enough! Thank you Veteran Air!

We purchased a new Trane AC unit from Veterans a year ago. Yesterday, it went down and I called them for a service call, (we had both labor and extended warranty through them). They set me up for an appointment 2 days out! Really? I called 3 other firms and all could come out same day. Heat Busters came out and fixed the issue within 4 hours of the call. Veterans is more concerned about adding electrical and plumbing services than servicing their current customers. Stay away and go with a firm with adequate staff to support their warranties.

New plumbing service needs some experience. Doing a renovation in my kitchen. Plumber came out over a month ago and hooked up sink, garbage disposal, dishwasher. He had a tough time getting the garbage disposal under the sink to stop leaking but confirmed with me that he had. Haven't used it much as the rest of the kitchen was still being worked on, of course after the 30 days, I'm using it and it's leaking. Veteran Air wants me to pay them to fix it, from an actual veteran....this is awful. Shame on you!
