The current President of Vertex Mechanical Inc, Vincent Youndt, has collaborated with his father, Ray, since he was just eleven. In 1989, after graduating high school, Vincent and his father Ray created a partnership named Ray Youndt and Son. In February 2002, Vertex Mechanical, Inc was founded, and Vincent took on the role of President.
Vincent and Ray began installing geothermal heat pumps in 1985. We are proud to serve customers in Lancaster, Berks County, Lebanon, and the surrounding areas.

They have definitely changed and not in a good way. Had called about a breaker replacement a month prior to get no call back, they forgot it seemed. Got told they needed to order the breaker when they finally called three weeks later. Then a week later texted asking for a picture? If you were ordering parts why would you need a picture almost a month later? They problems charging my card a few times with their app, till I had to go over and physically pay cash days later. I over looked it because I had used them a few times previously throughout the years. So I had paid the extra money to cover the call charge for a year back in December, tried about a dishwasher, figured while it was on back order, I would get the old dishwasher out so I could clean and paint the cabinet etc. Got told 137.40, then got told 237.40, why would I be charged a service fee when I paid for the year and the fee coverage- it isn't done till December? So I went in personally to talk about the dishwasher leaking, I said even after hours emergency hours would be fine to be charged with and got told no, possibly Friday? The have after hours emergency calls because I had used them on Christmas eve and invested in the year coverage? Really disappointed with the new vertex mentality. Though I will say the front desk clerk is a gem she tried to help but the some of the other staff was like a brick wall and all about how much they change prices even though you paid the year coverage that's a scam it seems. No one even bothered to address the situation with the breaker it was all a joke. Found a competitor close to home, who were more then happy to have me as a client and squeeze me in on an emergency. I should have known better after the breaker, but I foolishly decided to try again, live and learn, bunch of games, unprofessionalism -- a former vertex customer
Deb M.Came to my house to give an estimate to fix my geothermal after I had to pay an exorbitant upfront service fee. Quoted $1499. I called a plumber up the street from me & he and his cousin fixed it for $270 and I gave them an extra $20 tip. Will never call this business again.
Vince Kling came out to service our central air conditioning that stopped working on a 95 degree day. Very knowledgeable, and he took the time to explain his troubleshooting technique. I enjoyed his company as he replaced the Run Capacitor. The air was back on in no time, and my family woke up quite chilly the next morning. Thanks Vince!
My wife and I had a geothermal heat/ac system installed in sept15. We have a 175 year old atone house with trees as joists, which made it a difficult install. They did an outstanding job. The team they sent for the few days was outstanding and were total professionals. Highly recommend the system works fantastic and vertex for the install.
