Verns did answer phone and sent someone to house the same day. That was the only positive to my experience with them. I called to have A/C serviced for summer using their special offer even though the system was working fine. They claimed I needed more freon which they inserted. Then they said my system needed a new fan motor in which they quoted me a price. Since the system was only about 4 years old, I called to see if it was covered under my warranty. The installation company came out and said I had too much freon which they adjusted and it works fine.
However, while Vern's was servicing my system, they broke a pipe in two places from the roof to the sewer line. I had to call a good plumbing company to fix leak. The leak cause water damage to the carpet in two rooms. As a result, we had to get new flooring that has cost us over $2500.
This was not what I expected when I called Verns. Too bad they didn't do anything to help with our expenses. I would never recommend this company to anyone. What a shame.

Verns was very helpful! I thought I needed a new water heater. Ron at Vern's offered some things I could try before spending over $1000 to have them replace it. I ended up finding the problem, and didn't need them to respond. I called back to thank them and let them know I wouldn't need their service. They were happy to have been helpful anyway. I will definitely be calling them next time I need a plumber!

Called Vern's because of a plugged toilet that we tried to unplug ourselves by removing toilet.
Not only did Vern's come out within an hour, but Jim fixed the problem and put all my mess back together.
I was expecting the bill to be double what it was.
Now have Vern's Plumbing in my phone to be first to call with any plumbing problem!

Had them out again for various plumbing problems. This company will be my go-to company for any and all my plumbing/heating needs. Have shown me much courtesy, respect and great integrity.
They were very anxious to correct a misunderstanding which cost them $$.

Great service! I called them when my toilet started leaking and they were able to come out the same day. The people in the office were very friendly and the plumber they sent was very respectful and worked quickly. Highly recommend this company!

So our front bathroom is connected with the back bathroom and the back bathroom is the one that gets extremely flooded. I'm not sure why my mom keeps calling this place when they tell us the same freaking thing over and over and over again. We used liquid plumber to help with the back up, and it helps for a while then the problem seems to reoccur every month so we call this place, and all we hear from them when they come by is ""we can't do anything about your plumbing now, since it's not clogged, your shower isnt backing up, and everything seems fine."" Well hello, it's fixed for right now because we used liquid plumber. You act like we are going to wait for you to come and not take showers and not go on with our daily lives.

They are supposed to know what exactly is going on and/or give us a few options to fix our problem. Not just throw your hands in the air and wave them like your just don't care. (Yes I realize that is part of a song)

Anyways, I'm finding somewhere else to go, I told my mom stop calling this place a long time ago.

My air conditioning stopped working called them out of desperation. All other companies would take couple days to come & look at my air conditioner. I originally was told I only needed switch replaced & unit started to work again. This repair lasted for a month and the unit stopped working. Icalled again to have them look at the unit,and was told I needed a whole new unit that would cost $3000.I asked for a detail estimate as of today two weeks later i have not received anything in writing. I went with a different company and was told all I needed was a compressor that cost a total of $280 includding labor & parts.

I cannot believe how rudely we were treated, I am completely baffled. It almost seemed like they didn't want our business. They were saying they couldn't change the disposal because my husband called and not our landlord. So I gave them her number, I offered to have them call her, my husband offered to pay and have it taken out of our rent, the tech just kept radioing back with the same lady over and over. My husbands last understanding was that the technician was going to stay till we could get a credit card on file so that we wouldn't be stuck with a leaky disposal all night. When the technician handed me back my phone he said, ""sorry, I gotta go. The office is pressuring me."" What?! So I had my husband call back and in the process of saying that it was not communicated clearly who had to be authorized to pay, the lady at the office said, ""Well maybe you should go somewhere else."" And HUNG UP on him! We are not being rude or shady or lying about anything, maybe a little bit frustrated with poor communication and REALLY poor customer service, but that is NOT okay. My husband had to call back again and talk to someone else. And even thought they admitted that it is unacceptable for her to hang up on us, they made no efforts to rectify the situation. (As a side note, when they called to confirm that someone was on their way, the man said, ""to fix the clogged toilet."" And I had to remind him it was actually ""a clogged sink and leaky disposal."" Then when the tech got here, he acted like he hadn't heard anything about it being leaky) There are enough disappointments in life, situations like this should not be one of them. I've never had such poor customer service that I have felt it necessary to come write a review about it. So sad.

Woke up to a clogged sewage line. Called at 730am, had a same day appointment from 8-12. Technician called before arrival, was here at 9am and was finished by 10am. Decent prices. I was also given an estimate on replacing my water heater tank (I mentioned it was leaking) and they could have that replaced as soon as Monday. Will definitely do business with you again. Thanks for your excellent customer service, completion of work from start to finish, and your great technician!

Quick response and resonable prices, I had them work on my A/C unit in Fresno, they responded in less then an hour and fixed the issue quickly. Will use their expertise again.
