When it comes to writing reviews I am a little harsh on a company that provides poor service yet sincere and honest when a company does an outstanding job.

My wife had complained for months about our water pressure being to low and water taking way to long to heat up in the kitchen sink and washing machine. We thought it was our water heater that needed replacement since it was 15 years old. It was priced at $1500.00 to replace. I called Verns Plumping, spoke to Rod who said he would come out and check other areas first before replacing the water heater. Rod arrived, check the hoses on the washing machine, found sand in the lines and in the pipes in sink. Within 45 minutes, not only were we receiving hot water quickly but the water pressure was great. Rod checked the water heater and said it was fine.The cost of this service was only $99.00. Thanks Verns Plumping and Rod for the honesty and great service. You will be our go to plumbing guys from now on.

We had just bought a home in this area and our air conditioning went out. I called several places and those that did answer their phones gave me a 3-5 day time line in 100 degree heat. Read a few reviews online and decided to call Vern's based on their reviews. I called at 2pm in the afternoon thinking there would be no way I would get any help for the next couple of days, Someone answered my call on the first try and they scheduled something for the next day. I got a call back 5 minutes later saying that they had someone finish a job and could be on their way to my house in the next 30 minutes. It is now 4:45 pm and I have cold air!!! Thank you so much for being so prompt and coming through. I have an elderly mother who I was going to have to find other accommodations for due to the heat, but now we are all happy at home. Thanks again!!!

I had a water line break running from my water meter to the house (Of course the break was on my side and my responsibility). I called 2 local companies out for a bid. One barely looked at the area the line broke and went into how they would have to jackhammer the box and lay all new pipe etc etc... he gave me a bid just under $1,700.00. I called another local company, this time the guy gave me an estimate, over the phone mind you, of 2,000.00. At this point I'm resigned to the fact that this is going cost what it cost. I was tol to call Verns. I spoke with Ron, explained exactly what I explained to the other companies. Ron and Stewart came out, looked at the problem and found the pipe was not broken at all. After 2 hours of work, problem fixed for $148.00. As they were packing up to leave Ron told me ""Thank you for using us today."" My reply was simply ""Thank you for being honest."" Hopefully I never have to call a plumber again but Vern's will be the first one I call.

(Plumbing)Vern's plumbing & heating is an awesome company, I have delt with this company on 4 occasions. When you call them there is always someone there to answer the phone. They are reasonably priced, not cheap, but not expensive. They come when they say they are going to come. They get right to business when they arrive. They fix what they say there going to fix! I have delt with Rodney on three of four times I have used Vern's plumbing. He is an awesome guy he knows what he's doing, he can fix anything from commercial plumbing problems to residential. They have been to my restaurant 3 times, fixed my restaurant issues At the restaurant. I was referred by a friend and I would recommend this company to anyone with high regards. If you are looking for a company that knows there stuff, this is the company.

Do not do business with them. I wold give them 0 stars if I could. They are so shady. They do work without you approving it and then expect you to pay for it right then and there. Send you threatening letters saying they'll take a lean out on your property for not being able to pay them at that exact time for work you didn't approve. If they would've given me a price then me approve the work it they would've got paid at that exact moment. But, ""checking"" my AC then handing me a bill for $500 without my approval for them fixing it was unacceptable. Their workers are completely unprofessional also. They ended up getting paid. We told them we would pay them on a certain date but they harassed me everyday about it with phone calls at least 3-4 times a day. If I tell you I'm gonna pay you I'm gonna pay you. Don't harass me about it. Avoid this company at all costs.

If I could give this business a negative number, I would!!!
""Gabriel"" quoted my mom (a repeat customer)a specific price for a service call, which she verified over the phone with him. However, when the tech, Sal, came out, the price was slightly higher. Upset that a senior citizen was being charged a higher rate than quoted, I told the tech to tell Gabriel he ""needs to get his ass straight!"" I also told the tech while he was on the phone with Gabriel, that I would be leaving feedback on YELP in regards to this incident.
Although I had signed and verbally agreed to the higher price, the tech, while on the phone with Gabriel, got in his truck and left without saying a word!
When my mom called to ask what was going on, Gabriel responded by lying, saying that he never told her the lower price. In addition, he would not allow her to speak but interrupted her stating that they ""don't have to take that kind of abuse(that I had said). We will no longer be doing business with you!"" And hung up on my mother!!
Hopefully Gabriel's suoervisor sees this review. If he is the owner's son, then my suggestion is to find another company!
I hope no one ever has occassion to deal with ""Gabriel"" or Vern's Plumbing!!!
By the way, there are many excellent companies out there: Kim's Plumbing, Allbrittan, etc. Kiss my ass Gabriel! !

My review is overdue! With the recent storms, we had some flooding. They came in a timely manner. I thought it was going to be a huge deal but they were able to clear the blockage before any major damage was done. And the cost was reasonable. Raul, thanks for coming out in the storm.

These Guys saved us........again. I am not sure if these One Star Ratings are even Customers, maybe competitors??? We had a Broken Pipe in our Foundation. Called at 7:30am and they were there at 8:15am. They Jack Hammered out part of my office floor and fixed it the SAME DAY!!!! I was pleasantly surprised at the cost too. There was another little leak and Rod came out at 7:00pm on a Friday night and fixed it.

I have been doing business with Vern's for 9 years and have ALWAYS had a positive experience. Thanks Rod and Crew!!!!

I have had nothing but good experiences with Vern's. I've used them for plumbing issues and for my AC. This summer my AC was blowing warm air and we were miserable. Within 4 hours my AC was up and running and at a very reasonable price. Since then, I've had them out for plugged toilets, leaky faucets, dryer vent and duct cleanings. Each time the serviceman has indicated that I still had time left on the minimum 1 hour I'm paying for and if there's anything he can look at he's happy to do so. I took him up on it and got my faucet screen replaced for a few bucks. Highly recommend Vern's.
