I have had two previous visits from the company and was satisfied. Both were inspection/tune-up before the season of use would begin (which means they knew about the lock on the outside A/C unit).
Last weekend, I used the a/c for the first couple of times and it wasn't blowing cold. I called them first thing Monday morning and booked a slot for Wednesday between 9 and 11am. I was very happy to get an appointment so quickly!!
He arrived on time (without a mask nor commenting why he wasn't following protocols) and I showed him, quickly, where the equipment was located. After a few minutes he asked me for the key. I told him that his company used their key last time and I don't have one. When he left my property, he informed me that their office staff would call me to reschedule.
I have never heard from them.

I have used Verde Sol Air for 7 years now as they were recommended to me by Water Furnace Geo-Thermal as their Premier Installers. They promised that our property would look as good as new when they finished. They drilled 4 wells during a few days of on and off rain and our front yard looked like a mud pit. After they removed the old units from the attic, I had one little drip of rust on the closet wall where everything came down from the attic. The yard looked better than it did before they started when their landscape company finished. They are true professionals...so much so that I decided to replace the plumbing lines due to leaks by other neighbors in our development and have them do it. No connections with PEX pipe in the attics. Continuous lines with connections in the side walls. When finished, their recommended contractor for fixing the holes(50+) in the drywall did an outstanding job. You can not tell anything was done. As the saying goes...you get what you pay for. They beat other companies' bids and I have no problem recommending them for installations or service!

This company is the worst. I hired them to replace a leaking older A/C system that wasn't cooling in a rental home I have. They said it would cost $1500 to try to track down the leak, so better to put in a new system. They put in a new system alright ($7000), but apparently used the existing line set - which still leaks and costs me to be recharged at least once a season. When I called to complain, they said it wasn't covered under warranty,and since I hadn't paid them for annual service - that I'd have to pay them time and materials to fix it. Don't waste your time or money with these people.

Beware of this company!!! I was charged $718 to replace a $100 condenser fan motor. About 1 hr labor. I questioned the bill and was told they bill flat rate $595 for the repair and $123 was an after hours call/diagnostic. It would be more fair to call it 600% mark up.
They did respond in 30 minutes to a Saturday morning repair which impressed us and I felt I could trust a local, growing business. How could they not grow with those rates?
Get a written estimate and compare if you wish to do business with them. I'm not using them again, I feel so very cheated.

If I could give zero stars I would! My mother called this company for her annual air conditioning check up. Paul, the technician, told my mother that she had a ""leaky capacitor"" and it needed to be replaced. CAPACITORS DON'T LEAK (we all know that capacitors either work or don't work. And her system worked and she only called for the check up) I wish she would have called me while he was there but she trusted his word. A $264 lesson later he had replaced the part. How terrible that someone would take advantage of elderly people who don't understand how the system work and live on a budget. Liars and cheats!! Beware of this company and especially the technician Paul!!!

Dan Thomas showed up, on time and ready to service my Hvac system for the summer. He found a failing capacitor and quickly repaired it saving me major future issues.
I've been using Verde Sol Air since 2005, had them completely replace my Hvac equipment and have them come by twice a year, by contract, to keep everything in top shape. Dan in particular is a super technician as well as a friendly gentleman.
I'd highly recommend this company for all of your heating and air conditioning needs

Yes, as good as it gets! Request Dan Thomas if you can. What a wonderful professional and human being! On time, courteous, sincere, gracious and quick he was! It was an experience I was apprehensive about as I have never had to have my HVAC serviced before and he made the whole process easy, pleasant and actually down right awesome! I thought the service charge was fair as well as the time it took to fix the problem. I would highly recommend them and I would obviously call upon them again should I need to. Thanks Dan! You rock!!!

NEVER use unless you get a second opinion. I am 82 and blind. I thought my heat had gone out and called Verde Sol Air. Their Technician came out and said the components on the roof top unit were damaged by the sun and the entire unit needed replacing.
This new unit was going to cost over $8,000.00. I gave him my credit card and he charged $4,330.00.I was going to have a handy man build some sort of cover on the roof for the new unit.
My friend had me call Mike Reed Heating and Air Conditioning for a second opinion. Mike came out and said there was NOTHING wrong with the unit; these units are made to withstand the Arizona sun. He also said there was NO evidence he had even been on the roof - nor did he see evidence that he had rebooted any components.
I called Verde Sol Air and told them to cancel my order. The office person told me I would get charged for a service call. I then asked for a supervisor and explained my situation and said it was unbelievable that anyone would take advantage of an 82 year old blind woman. He did not have much to say except that he would speak with the technician. I don't know if this is their policy or just a slimy sales man.
IF you ever call them make sure you get a second opinion. But why waste the phone call?

i listened to my real estate agent and hired this fraudulent company. i live out of state, needed someone trustworthy, which did not happen at all. the thermostat in the house was set at around 55 degrees, but whenever she went over there, it was around 90 degress, and obviously it kept using propane, she messed with the thermostat but it wouldn't reset so i told her to shut it off and called verde sol air. they went over there and told me the furnace wouldn't work, needed a completely new furnace cause it was dirty (it was dirty actually) and there ""could be"" stress cracks in the manifold. right,,,,,,it worked so well it would heat the house up to 90 degrees in the wintertime but i should spend several thousand dollars because the coils were dirty. i asked them to clean them but nope, they couldn't do that. what kind of ac company doesn't clean coils? typical rip off the out of stater scam. anyways, the office manager girl said she would send me the full report, NEVER GOT IT, neither email or regular mail. she said the owner would call to discuss, NEVER CALLED. HEY, VERDE SOL AIR, PLEASE ENJOY THE 85$ FREE MONEY FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!

THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST AND INCOMPETENT. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I SUSPECT MANY OTHER POSITIVE REVIEWS ON HERE ARE FAKE AND POSTED BY THE COMPANY ITSELF.
