I hesitate to write this recommendation because I don't want this person to become too busy that they won't be available next time I call. It is rare to find a service person who goes above and beyond, but Jared Hutman of Veracity Plumbing does just that. From showing up on time, to wearing covers on his shoes when he came in the house, to turning around a quote with multiple options for the job in one day, to doing more than what was agreed to in the quote without extra costs, to answering all my questions without the slightest irritation or making me feel dumb for asking, to taking the time to do the job right, to testing to make sure each component worked before he left, to completing the job on time, to cleaning up everything when he was done, and doing it all with a friendly and professional manner, this guy is an exceptional find. He did exactly what he quoted, for the price he quoted, in the time he quoted. It was a great experience. I will hire him again any time I have a need. You should, too. You will be glad you did.

About ten years ago, after checking reviews and obtaining verbal estimates from other plumbers, I took a chance on Veracity Plumbing. And I am SO glad I did! Jared is such a nice guy! As a single woman, I felt safe with him in my home and never felt like he was taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about what I hired him to do. The first service he performed for me was removing a 20+ year old water heater. By far he quoted the best price and did NOT charge extra when he ran into a couple of unexpected obstacles. And over the years when the pilot has gone out on the water heater, despite consulting the user's manual, I could not get that sucker re-lit! After getting stuck in automated hell with the power/gas company, I called Jared, He walked me through the process over the phone at NO charge! Jared has also repaired a leak under my bathroom sink and charged me less than most plumbers charge just to walk through the door! Amazing! Most recently, my boyfriend and I could not get a disposal mounted back under our kitchen sink without leaking to save our lives! Using a live video feed on our cell phone, Jared analyzed the issue and walked my boyfriend through the process step by step to get it correctly installed. No more leaks. And again, NO charge! Amazing! Jared has strong integrity and REALLY cares about his customer's and the work he does! Veracity Plumbing offers old-school customer service that any vendor could take lessons from! Highly recommended!!

Jared is the best! Woke up to a hot water heater spewing its contents into my garage and called Veracity Plumbing in a panic. Jared calmed me down and was able to pull off a miracle and replaced it the same day. His pricing is fair, the work is excellent, and it's nice to be able to work directly with the owner of the company. I would recommend Veracity Plumbing to all my friends!

I saw good reviews for this young man and decided to give him a call for a simple toilet installation. I had to leave a message but that's alright. However, he never called back. So a few days later I called and again there was no answer, so again I left a message. The bottom line is he just never had the courtesy to return any of the calls or messages. It's possible he may no longer even be in business. If that's the case a simple message on his recorder would be the professional thing to do. I moved on to Moore Home Services and couldn't be more happier!

Jared and his team are amazing. I had a break from the city main meter to the main shut off valve and have a retaining wall, mulch, trees and pavers in the way. I had received quotes for other competitors but was told that the entire job could take more than a week and that I would have to hire a landscaper, as it couldn't be promised that the landscape would be put back how it was...especially the pavers. I never heard once about this aspect from Jared, whom I only had the pleasure to chat with over the phone and text. He and his team trenched and laid a new copper line and put everything back in 2 days. A neighbor of mine actually asked him how much he charges for landscaping - he let them know that they are plumbers, ha!

I couldn't believe how fast they finished the job and how well they put everything back, as if it was never touched. I highly, highly recommend Jared and Veracity. Just give them a call and speak with Jared for 5 mins, he's a good guy with all the integrity in the world and will give you a fair price. I will be calling him again (hopefully won't have to) for any plumbing needs, even though I have a home warranty.

I've been using yelp for years off and on for reviews not only for restaurants but various home and garden businesses as well. I've found it to be a bit of a mixed bag, often wondering why some businesses are rated high when my experience was contrary or others rated low for vice versa. I only have one experience that I can share with my first post, I also feel absolutely compelled to post this review. I have a granny unit that needed a shower gut and reinstall. I bought the parts/kit, unboxed it all and dumped it in the bedroom next to the unit. I contacted a few yelp rated contractors that all gave me some sort of run around. ""Send me pics and I'll give you a quote"", only to never get one, even after pestering, or I'm available to meet Friday at 10 and then no show and never respond again.

Veracity communicated what his limitations and timeline were and what was realistic, refreshing! He also said if I was flexible he could do the job on non traditional hours as he was booked out awhile but didn't want to turn the job down. He communicated through the whole process, was super nice to the tenant and went over the top with the details. He trimmed everything out, found paint and painted to match, and hauled cardboard and scraps out that weren't part of the job. There's a lot of really sub par service people out there that usually do less than what they tell you, he did more and I honestly couldn't believe it. He cares about what he does and being responsible for his word, that goes a long way in my book. He's a diamond in the rough. I stumbled on to him by happenchance on yelp and if you pick someone else you have made a mistake, honestly book him if you can get him!

I wish there is a higher rating then five stars. Jared is fast, efficient, competent and compassionate. He replaced a water heater for me.

While discussing the replacement, I told Jared I use a lot of hot water for pain relief. Well, Jared worked until 7:30 PM and never charged one minute of overtime.

When he was finished, the job looked like art. I am not kidding. His work is beautiful.

I worked with a HVAC company for 15 years. Jared's work is by far superior, perhaps it is the pride of a young man owing his own business. Pricing is competitive. I will never use another company and highly recommend Veracity Plumbing.
