Alex Ventura just came out to fix a backed up sewer drain for us last weekend. He's prompt and professional. One thing turned into another, and the job ended up being bigger than expected. He said he'd take on this much bigger job immediately. What was suppposed to be a 5 min. drain clean ended up being a huge 5-hour deal with him replacing cast-iron pipes from under the house, etc. He worked his butt off to do it quickly and well. He did things that other plumbers contract out such as digging to expose the pipes. We were also really impressed with the high-tech tools and machinery he used. The whole See Snake deal that provides a color image of the inside of the sewer all the way out to the street is pretty cool. Alex says he's available to do anything at any time he can. He's one hard-working, honest guy that I'll be calling probably more than I want to in the future. Highly recommended.

Alex Ventura is the most skilled and highly qualified plumber I have used. Once I discovered Alex, I never called another plumber. He was my go to plumber for my rental house and he has done extensive work for my home. He always does things to code and doesn't use any cheap materials. He repiped my entire home to copper, moved a shower drain during a bathroom remodel, installed many faucets and pipes, installed a utility sink in the garage, water heaters, gas pipes, etc . He can do it all and his quality is superb. He doesn't waste your time and keeps talk to a minimum. His last work for me was reinstalling a dishwasher, garbage disposal, sink, and unclogging drains! He's the best and worth the wait. He's not the cheapest plumber but for me that's ok when you are talking about any pipe full of water. I don't want it breaking.

I think I've used Alex Ventura about 9 or 10 times now. He was highly recommended to me and I always recommend him to others. Drains, garbage disposals, hot water heaters and broken faucets. He does outstanding work and at very good prices. I need some gas lines extended and I'll bet he does a great job there too.

Alex is a master plumber. He can re pipe the toughest jobs. Alex repiped inside of heavy stucco walls and around a concrete slab, he can figure out how to plumb very tough jobs. He is a problem solver, creative, professional, very focused, does neat work, and he gets the job done. He can outdo and out think other plumbers, and his prices are very reasonable. I would recommend him and I will use him in the future.

I heard about Alex and Ventura's plumbing from my dad, who has relied on him for years. Alex said he'd arrive between 2 and 3, and was here right at two o'clock. This was to clear a drain, and reposition a circulation pump on my hot water line (a previous guy had installed it upside down and pumping the wrong direction).
You can just tell Alex really knows his stuff. I had given the drain my best homeowner try, and within a few minutes of him working on it, I was REALLY glad I had called a pro. With my tools and skill, I'd have never gotten it done.
And he's great with copper pipe. A pleasure to watch him work and the result is first rate.
I have a few other things I've been wanting to get done around the house. Now that I know a guy this good, I'm bringing him back to do them.

Been using Ventura plumbing for 10 years. Great prices, great service.. Never had a complaint, their work is excellent. I have had work on three houses that included replacing main pipes from the kitchen and bathrooms to the main, installation of garbage disposals, installations of water heaters, install of toilets, cleaning out drains, installing copper water lines to refrigerators.. I cannot say enough good things about Alex and his company.

Contacted Ventura Plumbing on the Monday before Thanksgiving. They had a very good reference. They agreed that Alex would come out Wednesday morning (between 9 and 10) to hookup our new oven and dryer to the new propane tank (we just moved into the house). We kind of needed that oven for Thanksgiving. Then Wednesday morning (at about 7:30) I get a call from Ventura telling me that Alex has an emergency that was going to take the entire day and could he come out on Friday? I said no - the whole point was to get the oven hooked up before Thanksgiving. We trusted Ventura to do that. I am disappointed and stuck without an oven for Thanksgiving. I will never call them again.

This is the latest in a long line of local plumbers, painters, and electricians who agree to work at a certain day and time, then suddenly have an ""emergency"" and must reschedule. Yet Ventura Plumbing created an emergency for us that may ruin our Thanksgiving. Their lack of commitment is appalling.
