Excellent inventory
Incredibly poor attitudes and service by all the staff
If it wasn't for the close location I would never come here again

We were stranded in an RV park without the propane line working to our fridge. We had installed a quick connect off our LP tank to run a camp stove and it had worked it's way lose and was dragging on the ground. Very dangerous! We made a few calls and were directed to Hose Man. We were worried we wouldn't be able to get it fixed but one call and we felt assured they could help and they did! Noe, our Service Rep, knew exactly what to do and repaired the hose in less than 5 minutes. He was super nice and didn't even charge us! We were so relieved and can't thank him enough!! We would highly recommend them!

One star because I am forced to enter a rating! Purchased materials. Went to another vendor found everything that I needed instead of a makeshift part so I decided to return these materials within the day. The response that I got was very negative and unhelpful. If you want to stay in business take care of your customers otherwise you won't have customers!

There's some good parts there but the service is actually god awful. If there was another hose place closer to me, I would go there, but I'm stuck with this one.

If Yelp ever institutes a Zero star rating this place would be the first one to receive it.
For all the years I have been around, this was-without a doubt my worst customer experience of my life.
I accidentally confused this place with the Oxnard Hose facility when I googled it. I should have known by my phone call that this was not the right place. I tired to give them the information to make sure they had the right thing but the person on the phone had a little language barrier with me. He kept putting me on hold and speaking to someone else obviously and then getting back on the phone with me.
After ascertaining that they had what I was looking for I put their address into my GPS and off I went. I was surprised when my directions had me getting off at a different off ramp from where I usually get my hose needs taken care of. I thought perhaps they had moved.
I walked into the store and saw no one I recognized (again thinking I was going to the same store) and was met by an older man. In a friendly manner I asked if they had moved. I got a terse reply stating they had been there for many many years.
Then it was time for me to get what I had come for. I had brought the parts. With everything I said to him, he looked and treated me like I was mentally challenged. Finally I call home to make sure I am relaying the correct information. At which time he takes my parts and he hands them off for the hose to be made.
I wait for photos to be sent from home to clarify what is needed when the worker comes out with my parts and asks me a question. I tell him to hold off I had no okayed the work. At this time I am frantically texting home and saying please- I am at the wrong hose store- call Oxnard Hose and see if they have what I need.
At this time the older man (who I found out was the owner) comes out and hes going to start on my hose. I said wait a minute how much is this going to cost. He looked at me and said ""you are the one who is worried about a problem, why do you care about the cost"". Seriously?
At that point I took my parts out of his hands and left. I drove down the street and that is when I finally got the text saying Oxnard Hose had what I wanted and I was on my way. What a difference in that Customer experience then at this place.
This place definitely lives up to its other YELP reviews.

Needed an adapter for a pressure regulator to shock inflator. I didn't even know what size fittings they were but the hose man took one look, went to a bin and got the part first try. In and out in 5 minutes for $2.75. Bravo.

Very bad service. Try to find a solution for quick connect, but the answer was very disappointing and unhelpful...

I have to say I went there today and omg the short guy who is not so nice and the only one that understand me was the older white guy .. I was trying not to be races but guys like this make you feel that way .. I could say more but really!!!!

Both employees were rude and treated me like I was doing them a favor by being there. Refused to sell me what I really wanted and steered me to something much more expensive. Since they are unorganized, one didn't realize that the other had already charged my card and rang up my bill again. When jerk number two asked me for 5 dollars less than jerk number one I asked why. He says ""i must have missed something"", turned around and walked away.
Small companies I have worked for in the past have always used these people and that is why I was here. Maybe I wasn't spending enough money to be treated with respect.
Either way, it will be a cold day in ... before I go back. I didn't read the reviews here before I drove the 15 mins to get the the ""hose"" men, but I wish I would have. They are spot on.
If you read these and still go there....well I guess you deserve to get treated like crap...

My mail to their office after wasting my time with them in Ventura
You guys must be doing well to allow yourself to have such a rude guy at the service counter such as this Latino guy which ""helped"" me yesterday morning around 10 AM
There where no other customer in there when I entered and said ""hi"" to the guy sitting behind the counter. Instead of returning my greeting, I just got a ""what the fuck do you want"" gaze.
Upon finally getting up in slow motion ,further displaying his attitude and annoyance, it was quickly clear that his ignorance matched his arrogance.
after several trips to look for a fitting hose and not finding it he started to blame me for not explaining my needs clearly.!!
Finally he came with a hose which was twice the length I needed and quoted me 58$ for a 2', 1/2"" hydraulic hose with a crimp job on one side.....I may have even paid this ridiculous price if the guy would not have been so incredibly rude.
I walked out of there with great frustration, knowing that you would have had the right parts I needed.
I just read your YELP reviews and it seems I am not the only one who had wasted their time at your place.
I will ad my 2 cents to yelp and Google reviews and anybody who wants to know.
