We will NEVER use their services again. They installed our shower controls too close together when they had all the controls/fittings there on site to properly measure. I had to tear out the finished tile for them to come back and make corrections. Now, the faucets are far enough apart to install handles, but they put them back 1/2"" out of level. Handles are within 12"" so 1/2"" out of level is quite obvious.
I made the mistake of considering them for more work when their quote inadvertently had a nasty note in parenthesis "" Beware, expect work for free"".
NO, we expected you to fix your jackleg's screw up without charging us more. Hindsight, we should've billed them for the extra work we had to do to tear out and patch back new tile work.
They were paid immediately in full for each invoice we were ever given.

I used Venhoff exclusively for irrigation system service. They come out twice a year to open and close my system. This most recent time out, they discovered a problem with one of the spray zones. In a troubleshooting effort, the technician put the bad zone with a good one just to rule out a problem with a controller and confirm that it was a wiring problem. This took just a few minutes. The technician said he would come back later to fix it correctly. He came back a week or so later and spent considerable amount of time trying to fix it correctly but was unable. He then just put the bad zone with a good zone again and called it fixed. He employed the same quick fix/troubleshooting measure to get the bad zone spraying again and called it a day. It WAS NOT FIXED but I was charged $540 for their efforts. The invoice also said the price was ""as quoted"" which is not true. I would have never agreed to a plan paying them for TRYING to fix the system. I called the office to express my displeasure only to be told that the technician actually saved me money because replacing the bad wire would have cost me $1200. None of that info was shared with me up front. Not at all happy with the job done or the communication with me. Done with Venhoff.

Hired Venhoff to do the following over the past year:

- Replace a failed water heater
- Replace corroded copper piping with PEX, including a failed outdoor spigot that the previous homeowner / builder put above the breaker panel (that was fun)
- Install washer and dryer hook ups in basement with sewage pump

They have been great to work with, are on-point with their service, and when I did have a pipe leak later, they came out right away to fix it, free of charge.

Also worth mentioning they were initially recommended to me by a co-worker who lives in Oldham County and had Venhoff come out to look at a pressure assist toilet that was leaking. Venhoff relayed that the toilet was under warranty and recommended that they reach out to the manufacturer for the replacement part and didn't charge for it even after rolling out a van from Shivley.

Great people to work with, give them a call.

I needed help with a pipe issue in my Mom's house. I called a few people, one didn't even call me back (I left a message with a person)

Ms. Carla at Venhoff sent a plumber (Danny) on Friday, gave me an estimate and on Monday of the next week, he returned with his partner David and they knocked it out in about an hour or so, I was so impressed with their skill and professionalism. I have a new plumber! Venhoff!

Do not use! I called this company to give me a quote to repair a sewage clog in my basement. They came out did an estimate and then billed me $365 for labor and an hourly rate. I ended up using a different company which completed the entire job for $435 from start to finish. They called me for payment I complained about how nothing was even done so they took off an hour of labor but I still had to pay $250 basically for a quote. Rip offs do not use...

Highly recommend. They handled a very difficult job with expertise and professionalism at every turn. Couldn't be more pleased, and the bill was more than fair and exactly as estimated.

They took great care of us! They did have to come back a second day to fix a major mishap, but, they fixed it perfectly and we weren't charged for the second day. The final bill was completely reasonable for the work they did. I will definitely use them again!

Was having trouble with a clog in the main line. Three different reputable plumbing companies came out and tried to unclog. We were told we were going to have spend seven thousand dollars to replace the line. Then we called Venhoff Plumbing. They came out, unclogged it with seemingly no problems! Would recommend them to everyone! They saved us so much time, headache and money! The crew was so nice and so helpful! We are so glad we didn't give up and just replace the line. I don't know what we would have done if it wasn't for Venhoff Plumbing.

Honest, Honest, Honest and Very Reasonable!
I recently needed some repair work. I used Venhoff before to install a water heater. They did a great job, but friends said ""they heard they were really high compared to other plumbing companies. So I decided to call around for a few estimates. I called two large companies. They had free estimates and came right out. Their bids were 1200.00 and 956.00 for repair work. I had a leak into my basement from my upstairs shower. They were talking about breaking tile and cutting the back out of my kitchen cabinets.

I waited; it only got worse and then called Venhoff. Their estimate was not free, but you get what you pay for people! The Venhoff service person ""Jim"" was polite, professional and only repaired what was actually broken. $260.00 was my total bill. I am still thrilled. I have never written a review for a company but feel like this is the least I can do for a company that saved me $1000.00 bucks. And I am letting everyone who thought Venhoff was high know first hand they are the best company I've ever hired for home repair!
