Mark was our plumber replacing the toilet. Putting together an estimate & faxing all insurance info to our mgr he was professional & efficient! Today he replaced the toilet. He worked deftly. It was like art.

Typically, I handle simple plumbing issues myself; however, I decided that I would contact a professional plumbing service to make sure that the job would be done correctly. Since I have used this company in the past to perform plumbing work at my office and because the company claims to be insured and that it guarantees its work, I decided to contact them in order to repair and correct a small leak coming from the drain in the second floor bathroom. The plumber showed up and I identified the problem . He unscrewed the drain and poured some type of silicone mess on the thread and screwed it back on. That trick immediately solved my leak issue. I paid an exorbitant amount of money for about thirty minutes of real work. Unfortunately, $142.00, 4 months and 29 days later, the leak returned in full force. I tried to obtain the guarantee information on the company website, but I could not find one. I contacted the company this morning and was informed that the repair is no longer guaranteed and that silicone is known to wear away and that it should be repaired every few months. The company is on notice that I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. Of course, I will no longer call this company for plumbing service required in my office.

From start to finish, this was the best experience that I have ever had with a plumbing service. Mark showed up before his scheduled time and was very well spoken and polite. I explained to him what the issue was, and he responded to me in a way that anyone can understand. He didn't double talk or try to sell me services that where not needed. The work was done quick, and at lower price than other plumbing Company's that I received quotes from. I highly recommend Vega and Son for all plumbing services.

I needed to change my well water tank and based upon my neighbor's advice I decided to try Vega. Mike, the owner showed up today, and gave me a 650 $ estimate for the job. Instead of confirming that the price was competitive, I told him to go ahead. I was without water for 3 long hours and when the job was finished and I paid him with a personal check, he wanted to see my driver's license.....a first for me. I have had 30 K$ roofing jobs done and paid for by personal check and never have been asked for my drivers license for a job done at my house. He may have done an acceptable job, whether price competitive or not I will never know. but his drivers license request precludes me from ever using him again. Why would be in this day and age of identity theft, part with our private information unnecessarily. Nobody can be that good. Go with some one else.....Vega and Sons are not worth it.

I used Vega & Son for almost 10 years, with great service and good communication. However, I called in the morning and the lady on the other end, whom I've never dealt with before told me she'd call me at 11:00 am to let me know when Mark would come out. Noon came, and my husband called, and was told by the same woman, that there were two jobs in front of us. My husband told her, no problem, we just wanted to make sure someone would come out, as we could not use either toilet or showers. She assured us that someone would. At 4:30 my husband called twice and got voicemail. At 4:50, I left a message. At 5:15, the same lady called me and told me that Mark's job ran late and he won't be coming. Surely, being an experienced plumber, one would know if he's not going to make it, and surely he would know at least a few hours before. I had taken the day off to wait for them and they didn't even have the courtesy to call and let me know that they wouldn't be out until after I called and then they told me, well after other companies had closed. They wanted to come out the next morning but I was unable to take yet another day off. This is not the way you treat loyal customers. I will never be seeking out their services ever again.

I have been using Vega and Sons for 12 years! Mike and Mark are very friendly and professional as is Sandy who schedules appointments. They are dependable and honest and their pricing is quite fair! Thanks guys for coming out today to fix our weekend crisis! As always we'll continue to recommend you to others!!!

My experience with this company was a total disappointment. When I first called to schedule an on-site estimate for my bathroom remodeling, they took such a long time to get all my info and details that I thought they were going to be serious about it. On the first date we scheduled it was a no-show, I had to call them to know where the plumber was and they told me he was going to """"be late"""". Nobody would have advised me, had I not called. We rescheduled for another day, and the same thing happened. Nobody showed up and nobody called me to let me know. Totally unprofessional, I hope their skills at remodeling are better than their scheduling abilities.
