I did not do my homework like usually do haste make waste, thought i was getting a licenced plumber to install a simple toilet but he did not do that correctly its shaking not secure to the floor, the price was double and a handy man would have done a better job, He 's not returning calls, now i have to take legal action and report him / stay away from this crook. BEWARE.

I previously reviewed the business as stellar and Im thinking I must have experienced a fluke for good service. This company burned me so bad on the next service call I placed in February 2016. I am fuming! I called because my cold water would not come on and I heard the tank on my toilet refilling with a odd sound and saw water shooting out of the top of the floater. I was told nothing was wrong with the floater water was supposed to come out of the top..fast forward two days later, toilet not filling with water at all! - see plumbing bill! - quick web search showed water is not supposed to come out the top of the floater.

When the two plumbers who I would have to guess is not licenced, came to my house they looked at the bath tub and said the pipe to the cold water is frozen, I said ""No its not, this isn't an exterior wall and my whole house is insulated"" ( I had the service where they went into all of my walls and blew in insulation) I said I believe it is due to over tightening then they took the handle off and said oh yes it is due to over tightening. They replaced the washer and my water just ran from the tub spout and they attempted to leave saying it was fixed! I said no its not the water is running, so they changed the washer again, the water still ran. They said they had to get to another job and left the water running and left. The stream turning into running water I had to shut off my water main, I called them to come back the next morning, and they said it was the stem and they did not have the parts left for almost an hour leaving my water main off and waterer streaming down behind the wall while he went for the part, they came back changed the stem it was still running water and they left saying the owner Michael had to come fix it, he came changed the stem again and I noticed that they damaged my diverter so the water did not shut off at the spout wasting tons of water when you take a shower, the owner said he would come back and fix it and said he would not charge me for the ""repair"" until he fixed it. Needless to say after several ignored phone calls they never came back! The ruin my granite floor with dirty muddy shoes, busted several of my ceramic tiles in my bathtub, without saying a word, left all sort of debris and dirt in my tub from their work and used my bath towel to wipe the water.

I called two other plumbing companies and was told to repair what Vaughn Plumbing reckless unprofessional work created would almost $1,000! How the hell does a initial repair of $50 turn into a $1,000 repair! I am still trying to come up with the money to fix this mess.

Avoid this company at all cost or it may cost you more than you will ever imagine.

I had a water heater installed by Vaughn's plumbing. I thought everything was fine, until I learned that he did not pull a permit for the work AND it failed inspection. He refuses to fix the problem even after numerous attempts to try to get him to do it. Very poor business practices. He should not be licensed. DO NOT HIRE!!

I would not use these people again for nothing in this world. They took my money and won't come back to correct the problem. They made excuses about not showing up every time they said they would come. Mr. Vaughn even ignored my text telling him about the problem with pictures until I mentioned homeadvisor.com and the BBB. Then he came out a couple of days later and looked at it and did nothing but make up excuses about it even said my tile was very thick and it was the backing behind the tile and also said that the shower kit that I had bought to replace the shoddy improper one his stepson put on was not for tile. ????? He said that it would say right on the box for tile. Lie!!! Home Depot said they had never heard of such a thing. I didn't think so either for every shower kit that I have seen in the stores were for tiled walls. He continued to ignore me after that even though he would send his stepson back out the following Monday or Tuesday. No one came or called. This went on a couple of more times until I realized he had no intention of coming back to take the wrong part out of the wall. After requesting half of the money we paid back, he said he would give it after he got the part back he put in the wall. Well, I doubt that even. But I have to find another plumber to correct the problem. I have a hole in my shower wall since they came out to fix it. I had no idea they were putting a part in that was for a shower/tub switch over system since my shower is a free standing shower and he could clearly see that. I was left with a little knob that only goes up and down rather than a handle to turn shower on and adjust the temperature. Needless to say the he knew it was not the right part but put it in anyway. I had no idea the know would not turn until I attempted to turn it on a few days later. I had been taking tub baths until then. The temperature can only be adjusted by trying to slowly move the knob sideways carefully and I end up getting burned or too cold because it has no numbers or lines to go by. It is awful. The only thing they did was stop the leak. Then they wanted to send another acquaintance of theirs to close up the hole while I was trying to get the right fixture in the wall first. They just want your money then they don't care how they treat you. I was so fed up with them that I had to report them to the BBB and homeadvisor.com. I intend to use whatever legal means I can to get a refund. I feel I also need emotional distress for what he put me through. I am a senior citizen that he saw fit to take advantage of. I will not refer him to anyone ever.

I have been trying to get my refund of $40 from this company since August or 2014. He didn't order the part nor refunded my money. I've complained to BBB about this company. I'm trying to find other avenues. I'm a senior and don't have money to throw away. Maybe Michael needs the money. If so, God bless you. God has blessed me because he sent someone to me and he fixed without this nonsense about ordering a part at no charge. God is good. Hope to get my money from you.
