Vaughn's team cuts corners and overcharges. Owner is rude and arrogant. Count and clock his workers, then check your bills because owner will aggressively try to cheat you by inflating hours done by his crew.

While a friend of mine had received home work by Vaughn's Improvements and was relatively satisfied with their work, I experienced an eye-opening encounter in their lack of professionalism. I was driving down Midlothian Turnpike after work when I saw a vehicle in front of me toss a plastic bag out of the passenger-side window. Regardless of whether or not one believes in climate change (which we all should), plastic has well-known ramifications such as routinely asphyxiating animals, polluting our oceans, and corroding our economy. At the next red light, I rolled down my window to address the issue of littering. Shortly after my words had sunk in and the light flashed green, I received a barrage of yelling, honking, and a middle finger as these two brave men hastily sped away. While this is not necessarily indicative of a company's capabilities, it highlights the laziness, apathy, and lack of integrity of the people Vaughn's Improvements hires. Moreover, if a company's employees are this willing to harass someone (who advocates for more than just themselves) with the literal name and number of their company on the back of the truck, this further exhibits unabashed anti-social behaviour and tactlessness that I would not want stepping foot into my home. Sadly, I would most certainly beware of Vaughn's Improvements.
