Responsive, trusting and very hardworking!

I used Vaughn AC Heating & Plumbing Service to replace (remove/install) a warrantied HVAC compressor. I had an inoperable A/C unit. I called Walt, the tech/owner(?), after waiting two days (literally, two days in the middle of the Summer heat) on another company (Daniel's) to quote me out and schedule an appointment. Eventually, that company provided one and I felt the cost (parts and handling = $1795.00) was too high.

Walt arrived 1hr after our first call and diagnosed the problem. I didn't tell him what the other company quoted me at. Walt diagnosed the same cause (free of charge), quoted me $700 less than the first company and preformed the work that day. He's a man of his word, I trusted him to complete the work while I ran errands and he never came back to me for up charges. He didn't ask for any money down / no deposit...we had an agreement, something many other companies can't seem to comprehend nowadays.

I can't say enough positivesabout this company. He preformed great work and the unit runs perfect! He was also very enjoyable to talk to...a Vietnam Vet, so please thank him for his service if you get a chance...thanks, Walt!

I recently had an electrical problem in my bathroom. The homeowners program I have on my home sent out another service to diagnose the it. I was told that it was very dangerous and an expensive to fix along with it not being covered under my warranty plan. Being upset I called Mr Vaughn who I had been using for the 15 years prior to the wonder plan and ask him to come to my home and help me with my this. He arrived the next day early in the morning to help, dressed nicely and on time. After a through diagnoses he told me that only a breaker was flipped and corrected the problem. There was no charge, and he was honest to not rip me off as the other company had set me up to do. In the past years he has worked on my ac, plumbing, heating unit, washer dryer and oven along with other problems I have had. He is fairly priced and a honest man. I have always been satisfied with his work and highly recommend him and his company.

Vaughn worked on our air conditioner last year and was able to save us money! He does great work and we trust him! He is fair priced and When we need anything fixed we call Vaughn first! He is extremely proficient and professional!

I called Vaughn AC today to get some costs on freon and refrigerant but was not going to use his services because the AC I was talking about was in East Texas. When he found out I wasn't interested in hiring him, he hung up on me. I try rd to call back and it always went to. Live mail. Very unprofessional. When I do need an AC person , won't call Vaughn AC.

2 years after Vaughn A/C "fixed" my AC I'm still undoing what they did.The original call was to because my ac wasn't cooling. They came out and repaired the blower and also installed a drain pipe (paid extra for this). Later that year when we needed heat, the furnace kept cutting off. Had another company come out and found that the blower had not been installed correctly. This past cooling season the drain pipe that was installed needed a clean out but could not be removed because Vaughn had hard plumbed it in. It had to be cut off and replaced. Never ever let them in your home.
