Bill and team are absolutely wonderful! We used them about a year ago after purchasing our new home to replace a 35+ year old furnace, and upgraded our old water heater as well. It was freezing that time of year, and they made sure they did all the prep work beforehand and only had our heat off for a few hours (and brought a space heater to keep us warm but we didn't even need it). They were friendly and professional. Beforehand, they compared different systems and gave us their honest opinion - not swaying us or pushing us to more expensive alternatives. It felt like they truly had our best interest in mind. Fast forward a year, we had an issue during quarantine and on a weekend - Bill found time to come out and help us! I was panicked and he was so patient and understanding. I would recommend them 10/10 to anyone!

We recently moved into our first home and didn't have the name of a plumber. We have friendly neighbors who came over and asked if we needed anything and we mentioned that we were looking to have a plumber take a look at our 2 toilets and disconnect an old dishwasher and gas range, and then reinstall new ones. They recommended Vasiles as they had gut renovated their home in the last 10 years and used Vasiles for a lot of the work.
We called Vasiles the week before Thanksgiving and they book out about 1-2 weeks, so we had to schedule everything strategically. Kyle was the one that helped us and he was incredibly knowledgable, patient, and communicative.
He reseated our toilet that was leaking into the basement and then fixed the upstairs toilet which was wobbling/unsteady.
He disconnected the dishwasher and informed us it was hardwired which meant we needed an electrician to put in an outlet prior to hooking up the new dishwasher which had a plug and was not hardwired (this is typical in older models, ours was ~30 years old).
Luckily (kind of...) our appliances got delayed one week due to weather and issues with Home Depot beyond our control, giving us enough time to hire an electrician and have the outlet installed. Kyle came back (which was a great customer experience for us to have the same person familiar with the layout of the house coming back) and installed the dishwasher with no problem. Our new gas range has the gas line connector at the bottom of the appliances whereas the old one had it at the top, so he had to cut and re-route the pipe so it would connect in the right place. However when we went to plug in the gas range, the outlet was not working. We realized that when the hardwiring of the dishwasher was disconnected, so was the outlet that we use to plug in the gas range (this was unexpected, rarely are kitchens set up this way, this is an OLD home). We called the electrician urgently and he came right over and the plumber and electrician problem solved together to run a new electrical wire for the outlet to the gas range.
I was incredibly impressed that Kyle stayed to help versus coming back and scheduling another day. He ensured we had functioning appliances by the time he left and went above and beyond what I consider typical service. We will definitely use Vasiles again and highly recommend to anyone.

I have heard good things about them but experience had been awful. The first time I wanted to try them was for an apartment unit I own in Salem in the Point district. Once I gave them the address they said they could not help me because they will not service the point area. Knowing the reputation this area has, I couldn't argue against them but I did disagree with their decision. I decided not to hold it against them and waited for another opportunity to arise. It did. I had a toilet and faucet to install in an office unit in Topsfield. They were more than happy to come out and they did on time and ready to work. However, the project seemed to overwhelm them. They weren't sure if the pipes that were there were even for a toilet even though I assured them that the bathroom pipes in all the units in the building were the same. After some debate, they decided that they could the job but would have to order some parts and reschedule. I gave them a couple of weeks and never heard back from them. So I called them up to ask for an update. The receptionist said she would find out and call me back. She did not. I was getting the office set up for someone to use it and I was delayed because of this and it cost me time, energy and money because the unit was not done in time to get the company moved in on time. I am sure they do good work when they feel like doing work but I will not be calling on them any time soon.

Vasiles is an excellent plumbing co. They come on time and when you need them, and the price is fair. They are honest with you and don't try to soft sell you. I highly recommend them for any plumbing or heating needs.

I have used Vasiles plumbing for multiple projects as have other family members. Bill and his team are always fairly priced, quick to get a job done, and stand by the work they do. I would highly recommend them for any job that you need. I have had them repair old radiator heating, run new plumbing for a kitchen, and repair various plumbing issues. I know at least 5 other people who have used this company and have never heard a complaint.
