Robert showed up on time and did a fantastic job the price was excellent and it was a totally professional job if you live in north county San Diego Vanguard should be your plumber .As a retired tradesmen myself of 30 years experience (tile/marble) I've seen my share of plumbers, and Vanguard is top shelf.

The best plumber we've ever had, highly recommend. I'm a general contractor and have had numerous subs, but Robert is the best I've worked with. He helped my family and I in a crunch, our sump pump failed leaving us stranded, he came through in an emergency on a Saturday and got it done!

As a bonus, his pricing is fair and reasonable while his work quality is impeccable. Other plumbers should be worried....

I'm a realtor with clients all over the county so it's important to find different plumbers for various areas. I found Robert via Yelp and in speaking to him immediately liked his direct style and willingness to go to my clients house and then conference me in as I had an elderly client. He removed a leaking water filtrating system and replaced a pressure valve for a reasonable price. He sent me paperwork as I asked without having to chase him down. Then months later my clients main water line cracked and when shopped against another plumber he was far less expensive and could do the work in a fraction of the time! His willingness to explain the work and cost and speak patiently to someone elderly is much much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him to friends and clients!

My upstairs bathtub was making gurgling noises when I flushed the toilet. I called my usual plumber in Vista and told her my concern. I was told that it sounds like my main water line needs to be cleaned out but doesn't have anyone until Monday next week unless I activate EMERGENCY SERVICES. I called Robert at Vanguard. (per recommendation from my neighborhood email posts-NEXTDOOR) I told him my dilemma. He asked how often I used my bathtub. I replied NEVER. He stayed on the line and told me to run water into my tub for 5 seconds, let it drain and then flush the toilet. NO MORE NOISES from my tub. He explained that there is a water trap for my tub, but since I don't use it, it had dried out and echoes water draining from my tub. Had nothing to do with the 'main water line'. Robert charged me nothing for the phone call. I cannot express how grateful I am. Vanguard Plumbing is my main plumber from here on out!!! WOW!! Thanks Robert!

Robert at Vanguard Plumbing has provided us the best service today!. The pipe of our water meter was leaking again even though it has been fixed by a different plumber several months ago. When I was calling Vanguard Plumbing on Saturday morning, Robert has professionally answered all my questions and provided me a good estimate. Within couple of hours, Robert showed up at our house and replaced the pipe efficiently. The cost is affordable. He also takes his time to provide us a lots of good plumbing information. I would come back to Robert again for any plumbing needs in the future.
