Arrived on time to install my hot water recirculator pump and look at a clogged toilet. They were very professional and did a great job. Only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 was for being charged full price to unclog the toilet. Had they made a special trip out here to JUST do that, the price might have been justified. However, since they were already here, I don't think it should have been full price for the 10 minutes that were spent unclogging it. Otherwise, highly recommend and will use again! Thanks!

So, my problem was a burst pipe on a day (1/10) when everyone in the world had a burst pipe so that is a consideration. We were borderline desperate and they responded within 10 hours.
These guys were amazing. They came earlier than they had expected (in a good way!), they were super fast, they were polite and considerate and they worked in the rain in 34 degree weather to fix the problem. For all of those things, they deserve 5 stars. I really can't say enough about how much I liked these guys.
However, it was not cheap because it's an emergency situation, you pay emergency rates (they were at my house for less than hour and it was well over $400 cash only- I had someone else come out a different time who spent several hours at night and it was only $350- so be aware of that (maybe ask what the hourly rate is ahead of time).
When they were done, they explained to me that they were plumbers and they don't fix up the insulation, wall and siding and that would be my responsibility which totally makes sense so be prepared to do that yourself or have another person ready to do that as well.
I was very upset by the rate they charged and said so in my original review. Jan followed up with me to resolve the issue. He obviously cares a lot about his business and wants his customers to be happy so he offered to give me some money back or do some other work for me in the future to make up for what I thought was gouging. I told him to contact me in spring once his business slowed down so he could come out and fix some other things. So I altered my review to reflect that promise. However, he never followed up with me. It's understandable, out of sight, out of mind.

These guys were fantastic. We had a pipe burst and needed their services as quickly as possible. My husband coordinated everything with the Vanguard team and they were very accommodating. In fact, they were able to show up earlier than expected. They were prompt, thorough, and even cleaned up after themselves.

While we hope to never have to go through another pipe burst again, if we do, we know who to call.

We needed a garbage disposal replaced, so I hit yelp for a plumber. Vanguard was a shot in the dark, but i took the chance. I was fortunate to find these guys, they brought excellent service for minimal cheese. They were on time, speedy and thorough. I would definitely recommend to a friend;)

Did an excellent job replacing my water heater! They came when they said they would, provided an estimate over the phone and didn't charge a penny more. The customer service was excellent and the plumbers were super friendly and did an awesome job quickly! Will definitely recommend and will use them for my future plumbing needs!

Customer Service Beyond Expectations.
I had a series of issues related to valves in my bathroom faucets, recently. I tried working with three other companies before getting to Vanguard. All the others charged me to come out and look and then I practically had to beg for final quotes and never got them. I finally found Vanguard and that changed everything. I was connected with Jan via an email inquiry to them. I told him of my issues and my hopes to get work done quickly and with minimal visits, due to my works schedule and already wasted time with the other fruitless quotes. Jan was extremely accommodating. He was thorough and was very straight-forward with me. I could not be happier with the level of service I got from Jan and Vanguard plumbing. They will be my new Go-To plumber.

Outstanding! As someone who works a trade I know how difficult it can be to accommodate everyone's requests and keep a handle on timelines. In our case we started renovations on a lower level bath a bit late considering a fast approaching due date. Jan from Vanguard was fast to respond and together with our general contractor they pulled off some tricky plumbing solutions and met the deadline right on time. We were very happy throughout every phase of the project!
