I tried to hire them for a hot tub electrical install. First it was a ""supply issue"" on a part. After waiting 2 weeks, still no part. I went online and ordered it myself. It was at my house 24 hours later.
Then several other excuses that I don't really believe. Always canceled at the last minute. It's been close to 2 months. He completely wasted weeks of my time. I would not recommend.

Van Fleet Services is perhaps the worst contractor I have ever used in my 20 years of home ownership.
1. He was never on time
2. He didn't show up 2 straight days
3. He attempted to use adhesive caulk to secure a electrical meter box
4. He left an extracted toilet sitting on a bedroom floor for days
5. He left wires exposed from the ceiling and wall boxes
6. He almost electrocuted himself and then blamed me (the home owner) for not having checked the breaker box
7. He took a near 50% down payment and then proceeded to schedule other jobs that conflicted with mine, pushing my job to the back of the list.

Very quick to respond, a little late on the appointment for estimate. Did not receive an estimate unless it went someplace besides my email.

Contacted Van Fleet with an urgent last minute electrical job. He was able to squeeze me in to his schedule. He was very professional and arrived right in the window he provided. Cost of the services he provided was fair and in line with my expectations. I will absolutely use him again for future needs.

Steven was very fast and efficient at getting back to me on the phone, but he quoted a price that was double what other electricians were quoting me. I didn't hire him for the job based on price.
