We broke a bath tub/shower faucet in the wall. He called back within an hour, explained the issue, provided a reasonable estimate, scheduled the time to get the work done, ordered parts, and was on time and on budget. Very professional, super nice. Definately will call them back.

He called me back! !!!
That is huge compared to most of the busy contractors in this county we've tried to reach while getting our late mom's house ready for sale. This project was replacing an old leaky toilet and tub faucet. Painting and other work was delayed until this could be done. The one Tillamook plumber who answered the phone Monday said they could probably get to it in a couple days and would call back to schedule. I left three voicemails by Wednesday and started calling in North county. Got a call back quickly from Van Dyke to say that he couldn't do it this week but could next Tuesday. He called Monday night to confirm appt. Showed up on time, did a fine job, and charged a reasonable amount. Would certainly use him again.

I was looking for a plumber to fix a leak. I called several and left messages. Van Dyke called me right back. He told me he couldn't get to me for a couple of weeks. But he at least called so I could continue my search. That alone is worth five stars.

No stars for all the local plumbers that have yet to get back to me.

Honest, prompt, hard working! Own and live in de-commissioned church in Wheeler. Needed a great plumber to disconnect, and remove dishwasher from kitchen in main part of church, we have 100 year old plumbing fixtures. Not the dishwasher! He needed to repair the sink upstairs, did not need to replace. He fixed it! Remove an old sink downstairs with 2 1/2 screws imbedded in the lath and plaster. He somehow was able to remove those without removing the wall, not a crack! And then replace with new sink, hardware, and cabinet. He did so in an amazingly short time. We thought it was going to be an all day project. 3 hours! Great rates, left the place spotless. We have other projects and I'm going to have him do it! I appreciate a person that is clear about what they can and cannot do over the phone. And look forward to working with him in the future. It is really hard to get a great plumber in the area. Thank you again!
